Leslie. i think it is time admin removed your posts. i hope soundy or rory have spotted what you are doing 2 of the 3 images you have listed in past posts have more than just an image. all of your posts are copy past from sites that ended with a virus problem. your post above is from 3 years ago and has been posted over 400 times over the net on forums along with your images. i think you should be removed from the forum before you cause harm

sorry i thought that what you asked for the camera would be zoomed into the door every time motion is detected at the door no motion it zooms back out. or a bosh box will give you picture in picture 1 zoomed in the other out
-
with most box zoom cameras now you can have auto zoom set vis motion on camera which will be better. if you have it set via your alarm when set the rest of the room is not covered

hi. first we do need to know if your card is legit (if you talked to a authorised geo) they would have also told you pre 2006 will not run on the newer software. can you run this from your system and list your findings. http://www.remote-security.com/update/Detection_Tool_en8010.zip you may need to buy (if legit) a usb software lock (only from geo)

hi Headsup. lightning protection will not work in your case.

Best NVR (software) for 4 Ip Camera's ~ small business.
tomcctv replied to cr2250's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
hi it does not matter what software you are using or HD space its what comes from the camera and your panasonic is 30fps @ 192 x 144 and 7-12fps @ 640 x 480. these are your cameras limit you cant make it better. i call what you have as a VGA webcam system very limited in use. you are just on the boader of ip or analog. you would have had a faster system if analog and dvr -

amazon card is over 2 years old not 64bit under 2 years old it is 64bit -
this means analog .... so you just have ip at each store ??? well the aver will still do what you need
-
hi. with mix of analog and ip then you need a hybrid geovision will charge you for each ip camera used. the small 8 way aver nano will do what you need 1 at each store and CMS at head office. http://uk.surveillance.aver.com/product/embedded-hybrid-DVR-EH1008H-4-Nano CMS is free http://uk.surveillance.aver.com/product/CM3000 and you get all this free. http://uk.surveillance.aver.com/series/software

that rules out 90% of DVRs on the market then. there are no problems with running active x the only problem is using NO name brands you have no support at all. dont read reviews on amazon or ebay. most of the time they are by the seller and most of the time they no nothing about cctv JUST sales. go for the apollo if your budget allows. along with the CNB VCM-24VF you will have a good system with good mobile and remote viewing
