Hi buying cheap geo means counterfeit. the problem (being the installer / seller) the cost is yours as there is no support for fake cards.

Hi. jodyd. before you buy anything list the parts you are thinking of using camera / DVR. also in the UK if you sell beer / spirits then you do need a mid range system.

D1 @ 7fps is not bad (some will only do 3fps) you are best using D1 you can get more fps but the quality will be Cif. best having D1 with a lower fps than cif at a high fps. i dont know the make of your dvr but some china units are listed at ips which is not the same as fps 30 ips = 15 fps 15 ips = 7.5 fps

hi is your dvr white / cream in colour ??? also the lights are camera switch ??? all lights are on with ever how many cameras you have connected and they stay on. the only time they would flash is if you have switched on alarm function. in menu look for setup then alarms click disable and then sellect all and then click confirm.

Hi. it is hard to say. can you take footage and post it on something like youtube to see what your image is like when you start to control. 19 PTZ are they all being connected to 1 DVR via the 485 ?? are you using a pc based unit -

hi. am glad the guy was honest with you saves you a lot of problems. if you look at the dahua and a geo 800 the dahua is much better spec anyway geovision is just selling on its name and so are the guys who sell the fake cards and software. geo needs to find a solution to the fake cards.

hi. if your avtech is new. why look for a firmware ??? you should only do a firmware if you have problems and if your system is out of warranty. (wrong firmware can stop your system working) and thats not covered under warranty
