D1 @ 7fps is not bad (some will only do 3fps) you are best using D1 you can get more fps but the quality will be Cif. best having D1 with a lower fps than cif at a high fps. i dont know the make of your dvr but some china units are listed at ips which is not the same as fps 30 ips = 15 fps 15 ips = 7.5 fps

hi is your dvr white / cream in colour ??? also the lights are camera switch ??? all lights are on with ever how many cameras you have connected and they stay on. the only time they would flash is if you have switched on alarm function. in menu look for setup then alarms click disable and then sellect all and then click confirm.

Hi. it is hard to say. can you take footage and post it on something like youtube to see what your image is like when you start to control. 19 PTZ are they all being connected to 1 DVR via the 485 ?? are you using a pc based unit

hi. am glad the guy was honest with you saves you a lot of problems. if you look at the dahua and a geo 800 the dahua is much better spec anyway geovision is just selling on its name and so are the guys who sell the fake cards and software. geo needs to find a solution to the fake cards.

hi. if your avtech is new. why look for a firmware ??? you should only do a firmware if you have problems and if your system is out of warranty. (wrong firmware can stop your system working) and thats not covered under warranty

hi. yes if your using server e then you have the rebranded avtech. and will using server e they are a few years old. avtech i would say are the low end budget DVR. what i meen bt that is its the lowest you would buy before going into un named brands. still has support and are good for what they are. Dahua ... people say domestic or low end but infact they make for big boys such as hikvision. dahua will do the job that you need

hi. it will be best if you contact the company who repaired your camera and ask them to send you a new fly lead. and fit that back to your camera. the reason being if you cut out the OSD you have no camera menu settings for setup.

swann also sell avtech re badged this is why you have eyemax. and the other problem is swann units dont link to each other as different brands. swann dvrs are low end if you are looking for off site monitoring and recording then you need good software for it to be reliable

Hi geo 800 16 will cost $500 -$600. so i think it is safe to say you will be buying a clone. no support at all and you have NO warranty. geo clones have become a big problem we have just saved you alot of money buy something that works with it - Qvis Apollo Pro 16 way (dahua) will do the same as the geo and more and its got warranty
