dahua dvr vs intellipix 16 channel dvr.
tomcctv replied to guy999's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi guy999 the intellipix is a dahua dvr. so its just a matter of finding the right price. -
Hi John. just a few things to try. for local enter http://192.168.0. x or http://192.168.0.x:8000 or http://192.168.0.x:9000 you dont need to add 80 when local x is your dvr ip end number. also can you find a link or a picture of your dvr ?? you may not have the right ports open some DVRs have there own.
-
hi Baje. no they are just connectors and for around the same price i would just buy baluns.
-
Hi. they are just screw terminal connecters. we use them for BNC audio connection you see on some dvrs like hikvision
-
jjairon. love saleman that now nothing. why the hell would you say a thermal camera
-
hi. looking at specs each site tells it own story. some even say it has a dvd (must be one of those new small ones .... cant see any) but i love the free bees they give (makes me want to buy one just for the glasses. ADD. lilin 16 Channel H.264 D1 SVGA USB backup IE Ready 1TB DVR with Free Designer Sunglasses if you are looking at buying one look at the warrenty page some say 1 year some say 3 but most say warrenty is with the manufacture (please send it back to them) ??? best bet is buy a dauha. (unless you want the sunglasses)
-
love it. OPs spec is dahua and CNB and you send him to crap on ebay sectorsecurity. Box systems are the ones to stay away from > cheap cameras poor power and cable all = crap. But the system you have listed is a put together system with brand name products. = dahua / CMB good cable and power / monitor getting all that for that price is a good find. i see were you are comming from for your $4k budget as you still need to buy housings and you may need to change some of the camera lens

Anchors for Hanging PSU in Cinder Block

threaded rivits are ideal for clad fixings such as steel and aluminium. -
should have made no differance removing earth. ??? are your earth and neutral mixed up ??? if not replace your power supply earth is for safety dont run steel box power without it.
-
Hi. you can only have a power supply problem as connecting baluns should not give you power problems. it sounds like you have a neutral problem (connecting cameras is giving you the neutral) via dvr. put a multimeter across pos and neg on power unit and see what you have

Honeywell / VLC Orbiter PTZ Camera
tomcctv replied to frankow's topic in General Analog CCTV Discussion
Hi frankow. do you not have any other cables . like coax also from the head ???? if not then you do not have a VCL can you post a full pic of the camera ??? some of the old VCL also need a control unit. you may have a VCL housing but someone has fitted another camera and connection -
hi most of these systems with only 1 audio is usually assigned to camera 1 . so it just a matter of making shure camera 1 in in the area you need audio. and not all systems record sound (just listen via dvr room) so check if your system will record sound with footage on playback

hi john. just A & B is all you need A goes to RX+ B goes to RX-

tomcctv replied to DJRepresent's topic in System Design
hi. does not matter if HE knows the consequences . if you are the installer ALL consequences are yours. every legal problem falls to you. you would not have as much problems if you used standard cameras -

Connecting to Digital Sprite 2 externally?
tomcctv replied to jsutherland7's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi Jsutherland. it all depends on how old your DM sprite is. and this comes with a warning if you have the old DM you may need to update (dont do it yourself) you will kill your dvr. the new sprite needs no remote software but the old one does. if you have the new one PDF. ftp://files155.cyberlynk.net/DS2NetworkingGuide.pdf if you have the old (software downloads) look up your dvr. http://www.dedicatedmicros.com/software_release/index_firmware.php -
I did a search for bosch 495 and it comes up with Bosch VDN-495 which was $600 is there a different camera you are speaking of. the samsung have been around for a while. (you can still buy new) but are on the high side in price. and you still need to buy a lens. buy S/H and you get a good deal. http://www.nellyssurplus.com/servlet/the-1430/Samsung-SCC-dsh-130B-Security-Camera/Detail

Outdoor, but I think I am going to get heated & cooled housings. Hi Bmonaweck. the CNB 20vd are not good for putting into housings. they are used for internal use. (can also buy in dome type) for housing use have a look at the CNB BBM-20F/BBM-21F much better camera with better lens choice
-
hi are you looking for internal or outdoor use ??
