  1. hi. you would still not get control from another dvr. DVR 1 you set up your settings for control of the camera... so as when you click on the camera you can use the onboad controller to zoom. so if you then move to DVR 2 and you want to control the same camera you cant it is not in the DVR settings. 485 is out only (transmit) so you have 2 DVRs and 2 monitors. you can do it with the mace but you would need to go 2 DVRs to PC with monitor and use mace CMS.

    cameras on a helicopter??

hi. i have not done a helicopter but have done UAVs. about 2 years ago we were invited to view a new police helicopter via one of our suppliers. just a few points to look at before you quote. you are looking at over 100k - 200k just in camera // zoom/giro/ thermal / GPS location / microwave /stability control / and a few million candle power light (mirror camera position) and if you get that far you then have to have the helicopter manufacturer or avionics engineer fit it. which is about another 20k. everything added to a helicopter is self powered . nothing is taken from the aircraft.

hi. you are best using port 5550. and you would use your local as http:// your ip:5550
  7. either use a controller next to your dvrs or if your system has a CMS software that will give you all cameras with control. what make are your DVRs. to set it up as your diagram will not help as you would still need to log into the DVR to see the camera you want to control.

Hi, I need your help, please.

Hi. it also depends on the size of the area you want to cover. this depends on your budget analog will also fit your needs if you want to use both analog and MP ip then hybrid is also a way to go. this is a function on most systems and if you buy a system with good CNS software thats better. mobile viewing is not a problem either

    NEED CCTV WORK IN UK

hi. with the likes of google and ebay ...... domestic systems are hard to sell. business cards are always better than leaflets (people keep them) if you just sell yourself as install only then it will be hard you also need to look at servicing and upgrades.

    CCTV

hi. if you mean the SD08min you have to load it with hard drives. to get the best from it. i.e if you use a 500gb HD and set it to best but want 20 days recording the system will config its self to run for 20 days (over riding your settings) so it fits onto 500gb you can either install another slave drive (1tb) or set your dvr for 4 days recording with your 500gb HD and you will see the footage is better quality.

    Your Help With Recommendation

the Dahua hybrid is limited. and is way above your budget. it is a DVR with encoders for ip. were as other are DVR/NVR so no limits on cameras your budget will be either the dahua HD PRO D1 (full D1 on every channel ) or if you want to use ip and standard then the aver nano 8 (which will connect to your existing POE network) you can still use CNB or sony EFFIOs or qvis have just releast a full range of EFFIO cameras. and add ip later or mix and match.
