to be honest CNM support is for products they sell just like anyother cctv company. getting units on internet without static ip or some sort of ddns is not a product problem its an installers problem. i think you would just get more help from your customers ISP

Hi. with your kit. did you use lead kits to connect your cameras. many people install these kits and find they want better images. if you have used lead kits you will find you will need to replace them .

also remove the HD and restart the unit. see if you get the same.

liveinxs. sounds like you have a nice home. not the sort of place to install commercial cameras as CNB domes. CNB also sell 3rd party cameras. i.e companies buy CNB cameras and install them into there own fittings. so i might be worth contacting your CNB supplier. in the rooms such as your living room / family room and dining room i would try not to use IR it will just drive you made (internal IR looks bright) this is the size of a bassball this is the size of a golf ball

the ip i had to get from a customer who has the nano so cant post. but the ip:5550/mobile is on every avermedia

the CMBs will just pull what power they need so it does not matter how far the run. installers use what they are used to. both crimp and screw type can be put on bad. and its also the quality of the BNC. if you are use to the F type. then just use the BNC screw without any adaptors.

does your screen have IE. ?? but even if you are trying to see images on your pc using http:// your local-ip:5550/mobile should work if not you have a port problem.

listen your post has got confusing as it is. you are not using handy viewer . this is handy viewer. it is software you download direct from the dvr as is remote viewer. what you are asking for is still java images but you want to display more than 1 image at a time. then no you cant ip:550/mobile is just avermedias test and has been for 7 years.

this is aver mobile still image viewer only still image that you have to refresh all the time. no controls and no audio. its just called avers java refresh. and you only get 1inch x 1 inch image. http://demo1.cctvbuyers.com:5550/mobile/ this is what you need to see on your nokia screen http://demo1.cctvbuyers.com:5550/JAVA-Viewer.html then you will see JAVA-Viewer.jar click on that to install icon in your mobil application screen and your done.

what mobile to you use ???? and ill creat a moving viewer for you On the SA, using /mobile gives you "Handy Viewer" this is not handy viewer. its just a java still image only used as a test screen to see if your mobile runs handy viewer. handy viewer has PTZ controls and audio for all SA/NV/EB/SEB nano and touch.

hi. adding mobile at the end will only give you a still image. it is only a test on all avermedias. what are you logging in from pc/mobile ???

hi yes your are a port number short you need http://ip-address:5550/mobile (this is only used to test viewer) but this will only give you still java refresh images. so you are best with Http:ip-address:5550

nice to see you are putting alot of work into your system. the apollo has full PTZ control built in (move via mouse) and the dvr also has sensor control if needed. Siamese is fine for the PTZ (video and power) . to install a PTZ is just like anyother camera except you need to also install a data cable (cat 5) to control the camera movement (just 1 pair needed) Siamese with power is also fine for the rest of your cameras and as the CNB is 12 or 24v i would look at buying 24v with the size of your cable runs no baluns need for any of your cameras if using Siamese. just BNC connectors on every coax end. cameras power supply all in one are good like the Altronix ALTV2416600UL3

wish it was that simple. first we do need the spec of your dvr. if you need software to view your system by remote then that is another problem.

I didn't know that. I thought you could use any Ip camera on the list. yes for none geo ip comes a big cost you need a licence in blocks i.e 4-8-16-32 and its not cheap. and also a cost to use POS. its something geo needs to look into buying there products and then be charged to use them .... they even now have a dongle to check if your card is a true geovision or not .............. and that has a charge. in the UK we have had 3 big suppliers drop geo

Hi julian. i have a few customers over in boston and lincon. i think you may be getting a few service call jobs from us. i used to use the old VCL domes (still got an 19 year old still working on an install) you will find it much easier to make your din lead. you can get all connectors from RS componants for just under £5. then just follow this pin code

i dont think starting again is the way to go. you already have 16 cameras. i would go hybrid (32) and add mp cameras along side your existing cameras. and its a good way to go as you add cameras as budget allows you can use most mp with this and your existing cameras upto 32 cameras. http://www.averusa.com/surveillance/productdetail.aspx?id=90

you can add ip in the form of geo nvr software to your system (if your pc is upto it) then you have the extra costs of a licence to run none geo ip cameras and then you also have extra cost from geo to run POS. (which no other company does) just in the geo running costs alone you can buy a nvr with built in POS . and have no other running costs on what ever mp camera you want to use.
