no. using ip does not use FPS at the dvr.
-
hi i only asked because if you are using ip as well as standard then the FPS will get better for your standard cameras. as you add ip

the nano is a mix match hybrid if you are just going to run standard cameras then you have bought the wrong product. using standard cameras will not give you the high res from monitor. plug a 1.3 or 4mp camera in and you will see the the quality. should have gone for SEB if you just wanted to use standard cameras.

That worked!! Thank you so very much, I can't tell you how fantastic that is. We have to have CCTV to protect ourselves from some pretty insane people. I really appreciate your help! And Brandon, thank you for your help too. I wish you continued success in your endeavours. no problem The_Librarian -

would you sell your customers B grade stock. what a silly comment. a recommended system or camera is a lot better way of buying than not knowing anything about the dvr or camera. saves buying twice dont you think. -

the nano is not that bad of a price to start with. good uk distributor gives good discount.

hi. it would be best to set up each customer with their own DDNS account. so i wouls stay with the free service. best not being the manager of each of your customes network.
-
hi. ilkie. yes your right. this discustion has only been about the criminal eliment. but there are many reasons why people ask for CCTV. like in the UK employers fit as a care of duty to there staff in there work place. just a set of eyes to watch over a lone worker in a gas station. or to monitor health and safety in a work place to protect other members of staff. a system has to be designed for everything.

Looking for cost effective hybrid platforms
tomcctv replied to fibrewire's topic in General Digital Discussion
not a dead end attitude at all its just best for us to understand what equipment you are using to control a full city. i understand you wish to put cctv in some of your locations and control them from a monitoring station. but we need to know how you will get it down your existing network. lets take an office in your city network. apart from the office own day to day usage of the network 100s pc. how do you intend to get the cctv system back to your monitoring station. i.e same network / microwave / fiber were is this city. -
hi. your on your local network. change all your settings to low ..... you have set to best and see what happends

show off.... looks just like the maxon housing hop you used some good screws on that beast. give you another tip. (funny enough had to do this in manchester) if you get something like cheese wire and fix one end to the wall just above your camera then bring it over your camera to below. will stop anyone being able to throw a rope over it. what part of manchester are you in >>>> may have some camera replacment work for you.
-
hi. see what happends when you leave your post for a while the spectra camera is good with plates. made buy another company but renamed by the likes of jet and spec. the only problem is hight and width you place your camera . but you only need to play to get it right.
-
hi could be an ip change. did you use static ip from isp or a ddns service.
-
I think the confusion arises from your tendency to post images to promote a product - hence your confusion when you imagine that's the sole purpose of posting images on the forum. thats the confusion. the camera i posted is the camera the op has $300 worth. the post was will the camera do licence plates. and yes it will same camera, http://www.eaglevision1.com/images/indoorView.gif
-
am total confused by your post. first image, jetwiew your camera that you use, busytrade second eclips picture image , alibarba do you not have a picture of the camera that has taken the view. the jetview image is taken with a camera that has them same spec as the spectra. as they both use the same manufactura.
-
thats interesting. that image was not taken with this camera. it was taken with a camera of this spec. it was taken via a box camera with same spec as the CVC652-HZ SPECIFICATIONS Item Specification Image sensor 1/4 type EXview HAD CCD Number of effective pixels Approx. 440,000 pixels Lens 18 x zoom, f=4.1 mm (wide) to 73.8 mm (tele), F1.4 to F3.0 Digital zoom 12 x (216 x with optical zoom) Angle of view (H) 48 deg.
