tech support should have also told you the same. use a active x tool remover. and reinstall. also on your remote viewing software are your controls at the bottom or up the right side of the screen.
  2. hi. only if you was going to run audio back to your nvr. but with the cameras you are using you only need to run the audio out from the mic to the camera in that area. and not back to the nvr. using 32 mics is going well over the top if in the same area and before you install sound check the law in your area (your the installer the law falls back to you)

hi. then you are going to have to put a partition in on 1 of your drives and also you dont have the dome showing in your list. you cant format i drive that has already been in your dvr. you will need to take 1 out (the 1tb) and format it on your pc then re install it and it will go to HD set up. but since you are going to have to do a little work on your dvr. i would also do the software up dates it will take about an hour. i will pm you the new software updates and a full manual for your dvr for how to partition HDDs.
  5. is that not what i said to do. (own network) if he just plugs into the existing network .... thats the part he is not secured on. but anyway things will have changed in two years

i have only seen this once before. and it has nothing to do with aver software. so you are getting on the remote viewer were you list your dvrs chinese lettering yes ??? and also when your pc has called for active x you get ?????????? sit back and have a think. were you input your dvr in the remote ........ is not part of the software all you are doing is inserting ip and port number .... you are inserting that info nothing is comming from the software. your active x command should read avermedia technologies ltd as the licence. if you are not getting that then you also have a problem. the problem you have is malware its looking at keystrokes and active x commands. first run a full active x removal tool then run a good anti-virus software then re install your remote viewer or cm3000 also remember you are having problems only with the pc you are logging onto your dvr with. not with the dvr its self
  7. Could u perhaps elaborate a bit more on that? The camera's get a IP address, and it should be pretty straight forward after that? Of course you have to consider the impact on the existing infrastructure, but other than that is there something I'm missing?( Hi silence. yes your missing alot. first you never use an existing network infrastucture. you put your own in dedicated to the cctv system. no third party involvment needed from the existing network guys. yes all an ip camera needs is an ip and away you go. if you dont want your network secured. also the planning / how many cameras / size switchers / software ..... will it run the cameras you want to use is it licence free for some or all cameras ip systems you price right down to the $ your own network any other way and you losing money.

    RG59 Specs

you may find this to be a problem for connecting your BNCs ...... you might find it better to call a local cctv company and see if the will sell you a roll of RG59. slightly smaller than RG59 .... then its not RG59

Initial Setup of Averdigi Nano DVR

you cant format it on the dvr ......... it has to be taken out again. when you first start up the nano it goes into HD set up .......... with you not having a monitor connected you have missed the set up and you will only see the HD set up screen again if you install a new HD or one that has not been in the dvr before. Not sure why you stated this as its not correct. I sourced a monitor this afternoon and connected it all up again. All you have to do to format is select setup, system and then click Add underneath hard drive selection. That allows you to format the drive without problem. System all up and running now without removing the HDD. i started it just so as you know you mist the initial start up screen . which you first get when you switch the dvr from new. but as you had no monitor attached you mist it. ........... so know you have to manual set up your dvr settings.
  13. how have you done a factory reset on a mobotix ..... are you sure you have not just done a reset. ???

Hi Andy. if you have installed the HDD with no monitor and you have switched on and not followed the on screen set up ............ you will need to re format your HD before you can use it again in the dvr.

    CM3000 and AVTECH AVN252

That may well do the trick. Where would I get one? were are you based.

    CM3000 and AVTECH AVN252

CMS3000 is a central monitoring software. which is no good for you. the one you have down loaded is avermedia. you need the free download from avtech (only though support) or something like this that supports avtech. http://www.avermedia.com/AVerDiGi/Product/Detail.aspx?Id=196

    CM3000 and AVTECH AVN252

Is that a bad thing? I don't have a DVR. All I have is the camera. do you not have the software that came with the camera. ???

    CM3000 and AVTECH AVN252

CM3000 is very good and works well for remote recording and loging into 16 dvrs at a time. but your dvr is AVTECH
  20. hi. the only thing you need to look for is software or nvr that supports POS. how many registers. and what make.
  21. you might find it better to use a video server with a SD card. so as you can save footage. but if you dont need that then i would go with the axis covert camera. just connect to your router and go. and you will get support and warranty unlike Ebay.

Hi is this the same router ???
  24. like bean00 i have not seen much about for the cctv industry but i do know people that have used this for covert. HD 1.3MP Covert Hidden Camera. link sent.
  25. Too complex. He doesn't want an additional device. Either the iPhone accesses the camera directly or a simple NVR does the job of sending it to the phone. It's only going to be 1 camera. hi. a dvr is just as complex to set as 1 camera.... your idea of just using 1 camera does have problems. first recording (you need recording) ok your going to use an alarm system to send you a sms. then you are going to log in with your iphone to watch what is happening. what you will see is nothing. you are forgetting about time delay. 90 secs for your sms. then you have to switch off your alarm via phone ........ if you dont as you are connecting to your camera via your iphone you can guarantee another sms will come and your iphone will go back to the message screen. you could be looking at 10 minutes from alert to iphone footage. dvr. you can have images direct to your phone ... and you have the footage if the dvr is hidden well
