rory dvr spec page 17 ............. i cant see 50fps at all on the spec.
-
you can report me to ever you want. read the post you are the nasty one. all as i am doing is letting people who read this forum that the dvr you say runs avermedia software does not. and that the information you have posted about that dvr is also inaccurate. and also from your link the spec of your dvr. please (see i said please) read it. Video Output Channel 1 channel Composite BNC NTSC 120 frames/second 4×30 frames/second Display Frame Rate PAL 100 frames /second 4×25 frames/second NTSC Max.30 fps (Quad) Quad Mode Recording Frame Rate PAL Max.25 fps (Quad) Quad Mode NTSC Each Channel = 30 fps ÷ Number of Cameras Max. 30 frames/s (Total) Recording Frame Rate (Each Mode) PAL Each Channel = 25 fps ÷ Number of Cameras Max. 25 frames/s (Total)

your dvr does NOT run avermedia software. thats the second time you have said it. this is a public forum and if you are going to compaire dvrs for others to see then get your facts right. on the spec you have posted on that dvr is live view only at 25fps . recording is 25fps/ pal - 30fps ntsc in total.
-
Again you do not read what people write! I do not write anything about it's like the Avermedia, I write that it runs the same software! like or runs the aver software is the same thing. and no it does not run the avers software. and i did read your post. would you like me to point out your mistakes. you say 50/60 fps that dvr cant do that. 7 fps max. so explain why you think its the same as the avers. and the reason why i replied to your post is so as others can see it is not the same as the avers. and also it is a very poor dvr for $200

how old is your pro dvr ???? is it silver or black.
-
dont know how you have desided its like the avermedia. if anyone looks at the Monacor dmr-140 spec and the aver spec avers wins hands down. 30fps across all in total. has got to be the cheapest system ever and at cif.

hi iphones do run java. but you have to switch it on in your phone menu. and your dvr does have a iphone app. http://itunes.apple.com/app/swannview/id416404340?mt=8

Hi turnbow. you need to list what make dvrs you have. alot of dvrs work with cms software.

just on the live demo you dont have the zoom function. i would say it will pick up the plate in day. but the problem is when you need it most for this install. for what the mobotix costs i would not go the ip route for this install. you could use 4-5 standard cameras for this install and cover alot more.

Thanks for these very good points! First let me explain that the road that goes into the property actually passes right before the window with the camera, so I could aim it closer and have the license plate less than 10m away from the camera, although from a rather high angle. Mobotix lists its L135 Telephoto Lens as having 15° horizontal angle, 11° vertical angle, yielding an image width at a distance of 10 m of 2.6 x 1.9 m, that's about the width of the road in other words. Now for illumination, certainly there won't be enough in the dead of night, but if I'm not mistaken license plates are lit by the car and I'll have a couple of those garden lamps that light up when they sense movement. With 1MP and the relatively larger cells in the sensor, would that not be enough for license plate identification? Now for the cops, you are right that just the image in itself is not incriminating enough to get a conviction, but we'll know the identity of the people who stole the goods, so the rest of the proof should be forthcoming and a search warrant possible - or so we hope! live image of a m12. yes it could pic up a plate ..... not to shure about night time. on the live feed press 24hr to see recorded night view. www.mobotix.ro/ro/camere_supraveghere_live_en_2447.html

Security system for home use...HD3500...VCM-24VF...LDM-24VF
tomcctv replied to ELEKPO's topic in Security Cameras
hi ELEKPO. thats not a bad little setup. but i would look at saving yourself a little money (about $200) by not using the sanyo hd3500 and look at the sanyo hd3300. same cameras except the 3500 had onboard recording via SD card. and with you using a hybrid you dont need that camera. -
Hi forbus. if your dvr is on line i will install it for you. pm me your ip with a temp password. or if you open port 53 or 1053 in your router and direct that to your dvr. i will send you to the dnns software website and you can download the patch from your dvr. just one thing............. you have opened the rar files before you have tried to load onto your dvr. ???

Need to get video feed from two cameras across paved parking
tomcctv replied to Jeffrey's topic in Video Transmission/Control Devices
Will this be my best option you think? i use the VDS2500 alot. it is also your cheapest option. by the time you have bought coax / power cable/ power supply. the VDS2500 comes with its own power supply to run two 12v cameras at a range of upto 1300ft. you will only need to use your coax you have as power and both videos are transmited down the one coax. plus you will also have data that can be used to switch lights or detect motion alarms. -
Hi forbus. you can only add your patch from the dvr menu. click setup then system and bottom left you will see import and export click import and click were file is located i.e pen drive or disk. reboot system when done.

the best thing for you to do is throw the card away. no way on earth is that an avermedia product. avermedia cards are not made in china. -

nice place williamsburg. i lived in martinsburg for a while. if you dont want to use splitters then yes i would go to each camera with cat5 (also makes easy fault finding. with the likes of CNB you can order there range and just and utp at the end of there part number ) or you could us utp 4 way box and from there coax to your cameras.

connecting remote flatpanel displays to a PC based system
tomcctv replied to sf22's topic in System Design
I am trying to avoid small fans. Aside from being noisy they seem to be the #1 failure item in systems that run 24x7. That card seems like a good fit if I can't find or go with a fanless card. I found this fanless dual DVI: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125328 Also the quad card I mentioned is a little spendier but would only require a motherboard with one PCIE16 slot: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814195099&Tpk=100-505610 It comes with 4 mini display port to DVI dongles. looking at the cost of everything. and the problem of mixing. here is another option for you. http://www.avermedia.com/AVerDiGi/Product/Detail.aspx?id=175 http://www.avermedia.com/AVerDiGi/Product/Detail.aspx?id=286
