if you have only just bought this unit. i would just send it back. i can only find 1 company when googled. and the price is also well below for what i would call a budget system. a system that cheap will come with problems.
-
yes you can. but remember the sa9000 is now discontinued. in both USA and UK. so if you find someone who has stock. get it with the last software. or see what the price differance is to the http://www.avermedia.com/AVerDiGi/Product/Detail.aspx?id=279 or if you can wait for the touch . http://www.avermedia.com/AVerDiGi/Product/Detail.aspx?id=263

Changing KPD674 detection times for individual channels
tomcctv replied to richuk's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi richuk. i think you are looking at your problem in the wrong way. you have installed cctv to protect and for domestic use night time is when you need it most. instead of switching off your protection why not just install a ECO light below your camera with built in dusk till dawn sensor. ECO lights are what $10 a year to run. how much was your cctv system. does not make sence to switch any part off at night. -
i have a few sa9000 out some are just on 3 years old and never had a problem. but make sure if you get one it has the new software. ask how long they have had it in the store. things to look out for new one does H264 stream on ip cameras ... ptz control is on the mouse. (click on ptz camera click control in top left of image and were ever you move your mouse in picture ptz follows) also hdmi output which is not on the old type.

Downloading events from an AVTECH KPD674 H264
tomcctv replied to wirralbret's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi wirralbret. yes you can if you set your dvr recording to frame. it sounds as if you have it set to cif to get the best frame rate. if you set to frame you will get a better image but your frame rate will drop down to about 5fps on each camera. -
can you view the footage from your dvr ???? if so your best way would be to plug a vcr into tv out on your dvr and record it to tape. ............. then send your dvr back to Q-see.

Vivotek - FD7132/FD8161 - Better suggestion for indoor ip?
tomcctv replied to personalt's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
for a babies room i would just use ome of these and use a night light in the room. the good thing about the axis is you just need power in the location. and pick it up though your wifi. http://www.axis.com/products/cam_207w/ -

vavdagic. doing things on the cheap is not good. $1 do you think that timer will have any regs or stand up to your country regulations. and have you seen the P&P are you saying you could not just pick one up from your local store cheaper . you may want to fit cctv in your home to protect ..... but you are also bringing something into your home that can hurt. i think you will also need one of these.
-
Hi try and change the format from fat 32 on your usb stick to fat only.

i think there is enough info there to see two bullet cameras will not do the job.

avermedias will not run WD Caviar Green so you will need to swap them. use WD standard also when you do your partition only partition 1 drive for op/system and back-up dont partition your second drive (video data drive.)

well cm software is the way for you to go. and you can also use your existing cameras. how it works is you change your existing dvrs that you have and in locations were you have nothing you install ip cameras. that way your security can call all cameras back to one location. you can also set your location cameras with alarm functions to alert your security of anything happening. if you wish to see a system working with cm working just pm me.
-
opel is not a problem as they give static ip addresses. it depends on your budget as to which way you go. what are you protecting ..... in the uk

From what I gather, he already has this part working: motion on a camera triggers an output relay on the box to turn on the sirens. His problem is that he only wants it to work during certain hours, and the DVR doesn't have the ability to set a schedule for the alarm trigger; it's active all the time. that's all correct, can you tell if i don't get it working by software some good digital on/off current shutter or whats it called? so everything is working. you have the signal from your dvr to your I/O box which on motion detect starts your sounder on and off ................ what you are looking for is a way of just having the sounder start and finish at a set time period
-
yes you can go 4-8-16-32 also going hybrid will also let you just install ip cameras at 1 location and the recorder somewere else. so if you have 10 locations you dont need 10 recorders

then that will not work not with the set-up you have. an alarm box is for incomming to a dvr . your dvr cant send a signal out. you would be better not using your alarm box and just use your camera to detect motion and set it to alarm and put a set of good speaker on your pc.
