did you do the reset.............did it work ??? did you install the system. you will also need to remove the engineers code to use the installation manual.

in main control panal pull main power fuse and then disconnect battery count to 10 reconnect battery (alarm will sound) replace main power replace cover. then on keypad entre your code and press reset twice. with out removing the batterry..... sorry yes replace battery (before cover)

all the new avermedia cards do alot more than the GV or nuuo. and you dont have the extra costs like ip licences or pos dongles. but i would go for the NV5000 if you are looking to expand later.

Hi on the everfocus you need to hold the menu button for 5 secs for the menu to come up.

you have a power problem. 1amp over 750m will not run a camera. do they have seperate power supplys and at which end are they powered.

you will also need to find out what amp your power supply is and make and model of your cameras and how far away from your dvr are they.

the best test you can do on your existing coax is to use one of these. this will tell you if your cable is damaged.

you need to see each adaptor in com port. cash reg 1 com2 cash reg 2 com3 and so on. you need a serial adapter that you can pick up in com ports. and not all will do that. or if your cash reg are on a network use utp tcp settings (only on 7.7 software) which aver are you using ???

just a thought. if you install your camera with cat5 then when the bell is pushed your camera will flash up on your aver though the i/o input. and if using 7.7 software will also take snapshot.

if you knew how many people have problems installing cards only to find they have not seated the cards right. as for leaving documentation for your customer. everything is now on a help screen on all avers. (help or how to button) what info do you need and i will send it to you.

yes you can use your existing cat5 1 pair for each monitor or just add a amplifier to your existing coax
