h264 Hardware Cards.. Hikvision??
tomcctv replied to brianj's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
That is a pirated card. and read the spec. and if i was given that card i would only use it to wedge a door open. -
i take it you have been court on camera and you have pictures ??? yes water marks can be removed when footage has gone to another format. but both photos have a water mark so the footage they are taken from is water marked and cant of been altered

Hi this is just a cctv evidence and image print out was produced , im wondering is it possible for someone to tamper with the dates and times on cctv images ?? this image is taken from the same camera ( time on the first picture is 20:09:16.362 at the right side its shows 6936 ,the second picture 20:12:12.364 and at the right side its shows 14792) i am a bit suspicious how this number has gone up from 6936 to 14792 within 3 mins ??? what you are looking at is the time plus water mark.

Is there anyone here that can help me with CCTV in the UK?
tomcctv replied to rkwpetrie's topic in Security Cameras
Hi. rkwpetrie. what are you wanting to protect with your system home/office/buisness. and how many cameras. let us know and you will get good help on here. -
For $500 the best thing for you to do for your customer ........ is say sorry but i cant do anything for that price. which is a lot better than your customer calling you everything under the sun if you sell him the system you have posted. it is very bottom end crap.

PIR Motion Detectors Wired to DVR Alarm - Which PIRs Work?
tomcctv replied to Fiona's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi fiona i have just pm you a ptz to play with . so you can see please press preset when you log of from it. -
the problem with ip and looking at differant types is mix and match recording. 1 screen log on for mobotix then shut it down and then start axis window. you will need software to monitor all makes together. and this will also cost. i would look at a hybrid system that will take ip / mobotix/axis/sony/sanyo and not have more costs for licence. and you can also use standard cameras in the blind spots you are going to have. plus most dvrs come with auto ptz tracking. i have just pm you with live demos of mobotix ip cameras so you can see day and night quality.

no lead is needed on the avers. at the back (green strip connector) you will see push in connector for mic +- next to ptz control. (far right looking from back) Not on this one. This has 16 audio channels, and there's a DE25 connectro labelled audio. The manual talks about an optional audio cable. sorry scruit. i was going on the old one. just opend a new one here and its the same as yours. i will take this apart and find the pin outs for you . give me an hour and i will get back to you.

EyeMax 9000 Series Playback
tomcctv replied to miro23's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
you should back-up in EXE file and only i camera at a time. and a max file size must not be over 1gb. and it will playback on any pc. -
if you have the port on your dvr set to 80. try changing it to 8080 or 5550. as some isp now block port 80.

cheapest way when we have had to add extra camera in your situation is both images down 1 coax. the balun way works but bad picture loss. two cameras /power/data down 1 coax. we have used these many times. here is a full list of products. http://biwave89.myweb.hinet.net/product/product01.htm will save you time and money.

Hi serverguy. your post must be one of the best ever posted. good discription good photo plan. and also done good reaserch on cameras. how will you be recording all your cameras and how long for. but one thing you are going to be told on here is not enough cameras. there is nothing worse building a system with blind spots. if this is to stop intruders coming on your land (intruders dont use driveways) also you have no protection for your cameras (the 2 at the top of your pic has no protection from being riped of the wall from behind) i would look at the two cameras looking at your drive way to be ptz. with sensors around your home and sensors on the gate (the ptz will track all movment) i will send you a live view of a ip ptz camera

will you allow avermedia ip support access to your dvr via remote to install new patch. and if so you will also need port 5555 port forwarding on your router to do this ?
-

PIR Motion Detectors Wired to DVR Alarm - Which PIRs Work?
tomcctv replied to Fiona's topic in Digital Video Recorders
you should only be using n/o n/c alarm contacts from the back of your unit (12v is max you can put though) the pir is powered external to dvr. -
Hi peter. they are just standard cameras. and DONT BUY FROM EBAY. your in the uk WHY buy from hongkong. ANPR cameras. first is your dvr/nvr up to spec to use the cameras . you will be looking at 30fps at D1.
-
this is a very good system well under your budget. i would say use the avermedia sa6000 but you cant buy it in america. the one listed is hybrid so will take your ip cameras in the future.
