    Looking for a quality dvr

30 fps unit will cost lots 15fps will do you. but are you also going to be looking for this frame rate over the internet. just pm you 1 camera at 15fps and 1 at 30fps
  6. Oh, my bad English skills I will try to explain once more what I meant. Lets say you calculated that you need 3mpix camera to see number plates of cars entering gates. When it switches to 1.3mpix at nigth, you wont have enough resolution to see number plates. Whats the point of that 1.3mpix if its no good? There should be two sensors, both 3mpix. 1.3 is better than 3mp at night. and recording at 1.3 still has a very good res than any analog camera. meaning you can zoom in from footage. have a look at this live camera 3mp day 1.3 at night. this is a mobotix M12 http://www.mobotix.ro/ro/index.php?id=10055&lang=en&camid=1521

    EB1304 Dyndns Setup

remote console lets you look back at footage. entering your ip and port only gives you webviewer. cms is ok if you have the alarms setup but better with remote console as it gives you the same screen as the sa or nv dvrs or IMatrix is even better.
  14. your dvr is set on port 80. no mobile 3g or satellite will let you log on though 80. move your port higher i.e 5555 and you will also have to add your port (http://yourip:5555)

    Type of Screen/Monitor

how is the monitor connected to your dvr ie coax or vga. and do you control your dvr with a mouse ? then if not the connectors listed will be fine. used off the mointor output on your dvr.

    Type of Screen/Monitor

if you are using pc based dvrs then the adapter is no good. this will only work of av tv inputs. best off using flat screen tv monitors with all connection types plus vga. for all installs.
