    Deeplet DVR switching off

give it back to supplier and buy another make. it will be a power problem with the unit (hhd failure is a clue) plus looking at the website it is a very cheap dvr. try playing footage back mmmmmmm. also never buy a dvr that says ips as it is not the same as fps 30 ips is only 15fps. best thing is to exchange the dvr. for a brand name with support.

IP kit - advice needed please

the 6 Zone Expander TSLEC6 has nothing todo with your cameras so put that to one side. all i can see you needing for a quick set-up is a powered switcher to add to your router. pc world £30. that will give you a cheap way to do POE. your cameras will record to the small server and you can access that also from your router.

IP kit - advice needed please

must be a first time for me to say you have a good buy from ebay.. are you in the manchester area ???
  25. like i said in my first post for $60 or $120. you are not going to get a good card. plus going from the cards you use to something like d1 recording you are going to have to spend alot more on building your pc. then you will have to spend more on cameras than your $75. no point recording d1 with low tvl cameras. what would you call a good price for a card. ???
