i use silicon spray on speed dome covers. so it should work on glass window

Hi brightsparkretired. like i said in first post (nice expensive cameras £400 each) dont mess about with vhs ....oh yes i remember amstrad thats going back some years. and also dont use the 240v camera, will give you problems with the regs. i will pm you with the price for the 4 way avermedia.

hi Pierter. every avermedia now has this problem with active x. please turn the time back on your viewing pc to before september 2009 and it will then install then you can set your time on your pc back.

i cannot believe i'm seeing this twist ons are for amateurs/diy who don't want to buy the crimp tools. in no way are they superior to hex or radial crimps and i havn't seen a pro use twists ons for the last 10-15 years. most twist ons i see are usually done badly as well, there is a few tricks to do them well. however they are handy if you run into odd sized cables. mind you i used to be in aerial industry and got well used to sparkies doing dodgy connections with twist ons. tweak e. you are in new zealand and i am in the uk. i have not used screw on for a few years. i use the crimp 3 piece. but in america screw on is the standard. plus screw on have been on the market alot longer than crimp and as far as for amateurs. you still need to trim screw on just the same way as crimp.

screw on type with cover is 1000 time better than compression type even on ships. plus every othe bnc clamps inner and outer with steel or copper. compression holds it with a plastic coller. how is that better. and you dont buy bnc connectors because they LOOK professional

the problem is you have port 80 set at both tcp and udp. should give your dvr a port away from 80. as far as the porn this will be down to him or his staff and the cookies restarting because of your tcp udp set for all traffic

does your dvr only have usb back-up or does it also have a cd (were are you)

avermedia can be progammed to do detection alarm/ also send pre and post alarms/ security alert detect. but you need to run cms3000 for all this.

either the drive path has not been changed to usb from cd. or you need viewing software which should have come with your unit.

most good systems will do this now. even send clips from your dvr. avermedia and also the avtech do this.

so you have added another ptz to the system and thats when you start getting the problem.??????? have you connected the new ptz camera power to the existing power supply. it sound like a power problem. add a new supply to your new ptz

ebay is full of them just like vin2install says. like my earlier post. why not use screw or crimp. bnc

yes i have seen this a few times. when you first put new H/Drives in your dvr they will format. and you cant format them again (to stop people removing footage) what you will have to do is remove all H/Drives and format them on another machine or on your pc. then reinstall them.

very good cameras. i use cnb all the time. if you pm me i will let you log on to a customer to see the quality.

use them once about a year ago ..............then replaced them with screw on. standard types: either screw on or 3pc crimp on.
