Hi adnanali. you should get a pic with that wiring. what type of camera do you have. ???
-
hi. dmmsta. you need to change the port on the dvr from 80 to 5550. then look for the dvr on ie as http://yourip:5550 and another reason for changing the port is nokia phones or smartphones will not work on port 80.

tomcctv replied to 3RDIGLBL's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi. 3rdiglbl. if you would like to log in to one of mine its the 16 way avermedia with 8 standard and 8 ip axis cameras. then send me an email. no you dont need a licence for any avermedia. the only problem i have had with avers is dont put anymore that 2x 5mp on the same unit but other thant that they are a good machine. dont use the 8way hybrid it does not have as many functions as the 16-32 -
hi. wghoffma. it sounds like you are having a problem with your power to the dvr.the message you have said only comes up with power loss. try a differant socket or you might need to add a spike plug. but your dvr is still recording ???

Hi. Alan. if you call the dm budget then i would love to know where you buy them from. and also i think they are more advanced systems on the market now that do alot more than the dm. i use the avermedia range and i also get them at a very good price. http://www.avermedia.com/AVerDiGi/

Eclipse PTZ outdoor domes - freezing
tomcctv replied to kahodges's topic in Video Transmission/Control Devices
Hi. Kahodges. what make is your dvr. ???? and can it be viewed over the internet ?? the reason why i ask about remote viewing is some systems when viewed over the internet and someone moves the ptz and not hit the auto tour button before they log off then the ptz will stay in the last moved to place. -

Cheap mobile 4 channel DVR with network capability
tomcctv replied to todd2's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi. todd. i have the new aver mobile. it is alot better than the old one. the 3g side also comes from avermedia so no need to have to set up remote view. also it is now linked to google maping. i am in the uk but i have a friend in america if you still have problems getting hold of one. what i would say is other mobile dvrs have a long way togo to catch up with the new avermedia. -

mixing analog and ip and distances
tomcctv replied to CCCmarine's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi.use-ip. i have used the item below many times. and for what you need to do i think this is ideal for you. it lets you run camera signal with power and audio down your existing cable over 1 mile from dvr. take a look at link and you will see the VDS-2200 VIDEO MODEM SYSTEM. -
hi rawbe. it is the dvrs ip that you need to entre. and if you can view your system away from home then your router is set-up ok so you dont need to change anything on it.
-
Hi. rawbe. if you can view your home system from work but cant when you get back home...... it is just a ip problem. all you need to do is login with your local ip and not the ip you use when away from your home. you dont need to touch your router.

Vehicle installation: board cameras or bullet cameras?
tomcctv replied to todd2's topic in Security Cameras
Hi. Todd. you can now get nice very small bullet cameras (about the size of your small finger) i use them in taxi cabs. board cameras are very hard to hide. -
Hi. iansmith. i was asked a while back to install a camera to film a darts match. the customer wanted to display the match on a big screen. i used a cnb camera and a 5mm-50mm lens. worked fine. http://uk.images.search.yahoo.com/images/view?back=http%3A%2F%2Fuk.images.search.yahoo.com%2Fsearch%2Fimages%3Fp%3Dcnb%2Bcctv%2Bcamera%26ei%3DUTF-8%26rd%3Dr1%26fr%3Dyfp-t-702%26fr2%3Dtab-web&w=100&h=54&imgurl=dvrmaster.com%2Fimages%2FCNB_SecurityCamera_G1315Ns.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fdvrmaster.com%2F&size=1k&name=CNB+SecurityCame...&p=cnb+cctv+camera&oid=94882c07cdd63b78&fr2=tab-web&no=5&tt=66&sigr=10l9s6sva&sigi=11ji7i5ub&sigb=139v7250l
