Hi Those cameras burn well and that is your only option yes they are built well but buys need to understand that ….. it is cheap for what it is make it good and sell it cheap does not mean your getting a good product China want mass sales and $19 they will sell a lot …… the problem is they make there money up from collecting your data not only do they have access to watching you child’s room they can hear and talk if they wanted but now you have the data problem ….. even down to tracking your cellphone away from your home …. Even with the camera off the cellphone app is a tracker your name …. Your service provider ….. your email as well as others on your cellphone along with there phone numbers you can’t change the camera software because the data collection is built in and it’s put a hole in your home network which is something else you are going to have to fix once you get shut of the camera and removed the app ….. you also need to get onto your service provider and ask them to change your IP address people should read the info on apps before they use them here is the data that camera and the app collects ….. if your happy with all the data it collects keep using it but 90% of people will just bin it https://www.heimvision.com/pages/privacy-policy

RV Security/Live Monitoring/Backup Camera
tomcctv replied to BrightEyes's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi the f series is a proprietary system and can’t be used on another system for the recorder you have …. This is the ideal camera for your application….. made of steel and as small as a golf ball …. Can get in black or white tvi cvi ahd switchable https://www.amazon.com/Interwebz-Security-Weatherproof-MicroDome-Surveillance/dp/B01N3JPLJP/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=mini+4+in+1+cctv+camera&qid=1624652404&sr=8-4#immersive-view_1624652456801 -
Can you post details of your recorder
-
Hi …… this is a different description of your problem in first post Is it just one channel not showing a image
-
Ok good that test says a lot If 7 and 8 work independently but drops out if use both channels and you have done the test with other cameras it rules out faulty camera and cabling ….. it also rules out the channel chip …. ( on some units either 2 or 4 ) outputs share the same chip so next test is recorder settings ….. if your recorder is over 5 years old you might have reached a limit analog cvi tvi ahd are formats and some older units had a limit on how many you could set to each …. but also needed auto switching cameras I would now look under camera settings on recorder and see if you have settings for tvi cvi ahd or cbs and start to alter those on early dahua you could left click bottom left of each camera and pick the formate

Hi how are your camera powered up what happens when you do this test Take cam 1 and put into 7 and put 7 into 1

Hi. It depends on the spec of your amcrest is it listed as poe. Is it a h265 camera as a lot of new cameras are factory set to h265 in which case you will need to connect it to your network first and go into menu and reset to h264 have you bought the camera new or used -
Why can't I get 30 fps streaming/remote viewing and recording on ALL channels?
tomcctv replied to techie996's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi yes it’s the same on most units These are streaming settings not recording settings that should not be affected no stream or substream will give you 5mp at 30 fps -
Hi. Your post is confusing 1-4 recording with no cameras connected ??? I think you just have a simple problem and it is drag and drop screen settings Using your mouse put 8 camera squares up and then put mouse over camera 5 hold left mouse button and drag 5 to 1 ……. 6 to 2 ….. 7 to 3 and the 8 to 4 this then puts your cameras back in order
-
Hi yes it will but see if it is day or month that changes tomorrow you can’t reset from inside the unit it’s external code only can you post a picture of the main screen so I can see what firmware your system is upto
-
Ok sounds like the oxy dahua you need to switch it off for 20mins ….. this clears the lock ….. it happens ever 3rd attempt of password xJHcRY1201 try that code but it expires at midnight
-
Hi. Go into menu then network …. Then on the top row you will see NAT ….. click that and you will see a QR code on your app …. Press the 3 lines on top left …then pick server list …. Top right you will see a + sign click that … then you will see scan code (qr code on you recorder screen ) …. Enter user name and password you have already set on your recorder …. Click save

Need help with CCTV video interference
tomcctv replied to Daniel_357's topic in Video Transmission/Control Devices
Hi are you using the analog side of the system (bnc plug). did you use a separate power supply for your ptz ? And which connectin did you use for ptz control -
Can you post a picture of the network screen while connected to the closest router also what platform is your phone apple or android
-
Hi. If your getting the same screen on your phone it means you are not using the app Ok this is also confusing…. It’s going to be much easier if you just connect with network cable from dvr to your main router
-
Hi. With us doing the 192.168.x.x in browser this tells you it is communicating with dvr and pc because it sees it ….. so it’s pc settings that is not allowing you have you tried connecting with the app on your phone or pad
-
If you notice that recently your Chrome browser won't give you the live view, that is probably caused the recent Chrome update, which disable the NPAPI plugin by default. Here is the tweek of how you can change a setting to make sure you can still watch the live view and replay video of your CCTV Camera, IP Cameras, NVR, DVR on your Chrome browser: Open your Chrome browser, at the address bar, copy and paste chrome://flags/#enable-npapi You should see a screen pop up Click "Enable" Relaunch (close and reopen) your chrome browser. Login to your CCTV camera page. It should be working now!
-
Ok chrome disabled auto use of a plug-in a few years ago so you will have to enable it manually NPNPI plug-in was changed to disabled in one of chromes updates… you have to manually switch it on ….. this applies to local op login and also for using smart pss ill find a link for you
-
Sounds like your not in admin mode but first dahua default password should be changed on your dvr on some units no internet access until it’s changed but just as a test go to pc browser right mouse click and select run as administrator then enter DVRs IP
-
Ok. First the IP in your picture has nothing to do with your system ….. its just going to confuse you. It is properly displayed it also means leave your network settings alone as they are right so you did not complete the browser action? entering user and password ?
-
Hi what happens when you put ip into browser
