Mmmmmmm ok ... you don’t like to do things simple I did say in last post look at the 900s instead the 900x uses SIM card .... so that alone puts you on database the 900s does not. if you want to spend that sort of money but be invisible.... what about warranty and updates go buy the one in link $19 Walmart it will do the job if you want to be invisible...... what is going to happen if your camera catches something

Your in Canada ?
-
How is this going to work ...... are you going to get people to fill in a questionnaire as they pass your truck

I have been using BlackVue for years.... upgraded 2 years ago to 900s...... the 900x has SIM card so might be something you don’t need . For extra cost everything else is same as DR900s you only need a 16 or 32gb card but also using the power magic obd port power is a no brainier...... stops your battery going flat

built in motion detection..... night vision...... loop record and SD card

no it was a link to Walmart BlackVue was another option with live view

Connection (loading) issues when viewing Hikvision cameras remotely
tomcctv replied to ubizzy's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi. You could have the best connection in the world only to be let down via 3rd party server In your case hik-connect your next step is to find we’re your hik server is located and that distance is your bottleneck have you tried the ezviz software instead of hik connect -

Hi Randy nice post. yes systems have moved on a lot the past 2 years Nvr is always best and has got much better past few years as well as motion we have Ai and this allows camera and nvr to independently send alerts Never liked hik recorders or there apps which are old and outdated TVT units we have been using for a few years now out does hik and dahua and works across all platforms you have a good budget and the tvt will run your existing 3mp cameras

Power supply reads right, but won't turn on cameras
tomcctv replied to dchimiami's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Ok ... now your sums don’t add up 18x1amp =18amp your power supply makes no sense send it back to amazon also on lid under spec .... it states 12amp max power supply has been altered 1amp ...... is not enough if cameras are on long runs -
Power supply reads right, but won't turn on cameras
tomcctv replied to dchimiami's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
This is a confusing post ...... you say it’s a 30amp but in fact it’s only 12amp how can amazon get something so wrong picture diagram on power supply door has nothing to do with what is in side it is completely different..... looks like someone has changed over the internal board sent it back to amazon who have resold it to you -
Did you not check your other thread on DVRs

Hi. No dvr uses rj45 DVR is analog and uses BNCs for camera connection NVR is digital and uses network protocol (IP) so uses rj45 connectors however there are converters that will allow you to use your old cameras ..... but the expense is 3 times the cost of 1 IP camera plus the decoders don’t work with many nvrs so no one uses them anymore
-
Even more money ..... ip camera .... router .... nvr .... ir ..... solar . And all that cost it only works in that 1 location..... drive away from parking spot and nothing works the link to Walmart’s $19 dashcam is still best option
