  1. Everything I have posted is in your manual...... yet you still think there is away around it. and again he can’t use this system in any uk business recording the public look up cif resolution.........usless windows 7 comparable .......not above no apps developed to use on smartphones or devices you can do a Java script but it will only give you a 280x280 image not video so pointless if you don’t understand it is too old for modern day network devices and also too old for uk use as cctv by law.
  2. Clearly this post is spam first apple would not supply a3rd party store that’s not how they do business no clue how to run a store even apple don’t put devises on show to get stolen your cctv link .... why use a crap company for such high value stock you might be better selling fruit and vegetables than electronics
  3. Hi. I don’t understand what you mean about feed. network connection which is data (IP) internet protocol which can be h264 or h265 your recorder will produce mjpeg and jpeg ..... massive file sizes Not used in last 15 -20 years ...... if you have a old windows 7 and a old Nokia phone from 20 years ago you might get it to work windows7 you will need software to see the cameras and connect to recorder which you can’t get for modern devices Your thread is a bit like this. I have a VHS video recorder that I slide a cassette into ..... I want to slide a DVD disk into it instead can you help
  4. Hikvision is far from being best but before you buy any cameras you need to know your recorder spec ......no point buying 4K if recorder does not support them also be careful where you buy from
  5. Hi. You will just be wasting your time Also being in the uk the recorder is also useless as a cctv system if needed footage for court. Most of your problems are going to be software licence on the recorder ..... like the Java licence..... it will have ran out years ago the other problem if using a smartphone... no software would be much easier buying a cheap £40 analog recorder
  6. Hi yes you will need a pc 24/7 for blue iris to work and it will cost a lot more than $70 and extra storage it can be used in conjunction with your nvr or remove the nvr completely going blue iris is going backwards and you will loose some camera functions
  7. Hi. That’s been out for a few years. Just be aware of over loading it and waste money on 4K cameras ...... it will only allow 4 x 4K any more than that and your recorder will down grade camera resolution to 4mp You can use blue iris if you don’t mind paying or even free ones like nv1000 but you will need to put your cameras into a switch and then back into nvr with there IP address but again extra money for Poe switch or injectors so I would check if your nvr firmware is upto date and stick with PSS
  8. Hi. I would use pss dahua over amcrest as amcrest is just rebranded dahua how old is your nvr ? Or model number
  9. Yes that’s all now click on NAT at the top of that page and scan the code into app .... qr code on left
  10. Hi. I have just checked the server and your no longer on it so fresh start. can you post a pic of your recorder network screen I have also sent you a pm

  12. Yes that’s not a problem .... in fact it’s online now what part of uk
  13. Hi. I can see your live over the hilook server another security from hikvision before you do anything you must do a full factory reset on your recorder and also delete all recorder settings on your router ... basically start from scratch also edit your post and delete all your picture
  14. Hi. We’re are you located ??? did you buy this system new ?
  15. Hi. There is an expensive way or a cheap way and the cheap way is your best option and gives you a better system but you will loose joystick control ..... instead you will have mouse control either buy 2 new hybrid recorder or if both your systems are same location just buy 1 8way this will still run your existing cameras on there cables ... but on your ptz cameras you will also need IP over coax connectors this option also allows you to upgrade your cameras when needed HD analog upto 4K
  16. Hi. XMeye systems have a major problem if it has been on another network before. you might try this ...... but first take it off the internet go into settings then accounts and create a new one with full access then log out and log back in again with your new password and again go settings then accounts and delete all except your new one reconnect it to the internet .... go into menu and you should see guide half way down .... click on it and follow on screen messages see if that works

Hi. Good it’s working again ..... and you have also found what caused the problem ..... a faulty camera will burn out a power supply with your system being so old you need to find a 4in1 camera and set it too CVBS on install via pressing a button something like this https://www.amazon.com/Anlapus-Security-waterproof-simulated-Blinking/dp/B00U8U6Z0Q/ref=mp_s_a_1_17?dchild=1&keywords=analog+cctv+camera&qid=1605731854&sprefix=analog+cctv&sr=8-17

Hi. The same issue is your budget. a quick break down hard drive .......£60 nvr ........£70 2 ip 2mp camera £55 each £110 total £240 not counting cable. Also wireless never works reliable it’s still just toy equipment....... can mix cameras from other manufacturers ip cameras don’t need to be wired back to nvr ... you can use power line adapters .... or use 1 cat5 to a switch located in a area that is easy to get cables too. Yes your right internet is not needed but I was referring to the cheap systems from eBay or amazon ..... some do need activation via network ...... there cheap for a reason

For the cost of power supply with pigtails (splitter) and just a matter of unplugging old one ... just makes sense to change all power side for cameras

Hi. Something like this will work .... it will do 8 cameras but just plug 4 in your old one 500ma (0.5amp) is not good enough to run 4 camera https://www.amazon.com/ARyee-Adapter-Charger-Security-Surveillance/dp/B07CYMXSTW/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=cctv+power+supply&pd_rd_r=e97ac7db-524b-4e2f-8d73-ded5193fac4d&pd_rd_w=u4ZlT&pd_rd_wg=fSN46&pf_rd_p=5d249daa-c586-46f5-902e-027d01be0aff&pf_rd_r=MYM66TJQRFW08KKTVV9N&qid=1605474866&sr=8-4

    Dahua firmware

Hi. No .... last firmware update for that unit was 2016 v4 is for the nvr4108-4k
  24. Hi. Sounds like a good mess. your customer has over $1000 in cameras and relies on a $60 SD card which is never reliable ivm - nvr - SD card ..... 3 data paths also not good with using SD card onboard it will be h265 data ( saves on data storage) what is the nvr set at ? what is playback like on the nvr ?

Hi Your budget is a bit low to get anything with quality and the other problem is wireless good facial and number plate capture your not going to get with a cheap system yes you will find sub £100 systems on amazon and eBay but they will turn your home network insecure and you have no clue we’re your data is going spend some time doing a little homework and buy bits at a time as and when your budget allows ... also look for wired systems you will get more years from it
