Hi yes it sounds like a power problem .... they do get weak over time also 5amp for 4 cameras is in tolerance but does give some problems sometimes say cameras are 1amp run in day time colour =4amp ...... but at night switch over cameras need more power to switch IR on and to move the lens filter 4 cameras with only 1amp left .... a surge takes your 5amp to its max ..... you can till if this is a problem ...... at night hold your power supply and instead of warm it is hot. I would get another 5amp power supply and run two cameras on each. another test you can do tonight is remove a working camera from your power supply and leave the rest including your faulty one and see if it stays on all night

Your recorder is 10 years or More. I know CnM (Alex)They used to be on the forum till they closed. Check the date they were last on https://www.cctvforum.com/profile/17128-cnm-secure/ now your mouse problem ....... again your system has not had a update to update drivers for newer memory sticks or a mouse control to get past this just insert your memory stick and mouse then reboot your system and your mouse will come back i also have the CnM player here if you need it

Went bust nearly 20 years ago and ther units were sold after that under sentinal name. and that stopped 10 years ago you need to ask your insurance company on how much footage they need. they may want the full day The CnM unit may also be priority software which means burn onto a memory stick but you will also need to also supply the file player. And that will not load on a computer now as it’s to old and the licence will have run out. depending on your type of business it might be better to buy a new dvr and just send yours to your insurance company old CnM s units are on eBay for £5 ...... you will pay more than that for a memory stick

Hi. You have a power supply problem in colour you camera uses less power than night mode with IR on. as soon as night comes your camera is not getting enough power to even switch to night mode

You need to remember how firmware works it’s not a full software it’s an update or repair of the units existing software you list firmware of unit that is 2 years older than your unit 2018 will not be accepted if you have a China unit which I think you have as the firmware is old than the unit. YOU CAN NOT USE HIKVISION SOFTWARE. It will only brick your unit. Genuine hikvision software will not work on China units. you need to know if you can get into your system as it is PM me your serial number and time and date on the screen

Your firmware does not match your model number it’s out by 3 years. for years forums have said don’t buy from eBay for hikvision .... even hikvision issued warnings in your case it looks like you have bought a unit that has already been messed about with and has the wrong firmware. the history of the unit is also important...... did it start off for the uk market .... is it a real hikvision or a copy or China only and someone has tried to change the language with firmware. your problem now is it needs to be 2019 firmware but it will not load unless your unit has 2017 already on the unit which yours has not. big paper weight is what you have don’t waste time on it

Hi. It would make sense to use dahua since you are already using it. Your smartPSS will run everything nvrs and cameras. which country are you in ? Dahua and hikvision in government buildings

Looking at your equipment list it’s going to give you lots of problems to the point your going to waste a lot of money going 32way nvr standalone will limit the cameras you use and the camera resolution and the amount of cameras in your case ..... the cameras you have picked are h264 only ...... so the nvr 32 in your link will do h264 but your going to have to add much more storage .... it also does h265 which halves your storage but only if your using h265 cameras . i would look at using two nvrs instead of 1 32way you will only loose 16 cameras with two units if 1 goes down .... 32way you loose them all break glass sensors yes any unit with alarm inputs will allow you to use them as well and smoke alarms and heat detectors but the fire side would not stand under any fire code regulations what type of building are you installing in

Hi. 8mp and tracking is going to be a big budget. Something like the dahua auto track ptz SD cards in a 8mp ptz is pointless as you would fill it every day you are best going back direct to a nvr

Both systems are old stock low mega pixel and h264 h264 ..... say 8 cameras = 2 weeks storage h265 .....same 8 cameras = over a month on 1tb hard drive also you can add your existing hard drive to a new unit so it’s not wasted 2 hard drives your right 8 is better than 4 adding a front door camera with audio....... or if you have a holiday home or old relatives...., you can install a ip camera there and it will record on your recorder at home I will pm you a uk supplier .... take a look at you link specs and see the difference To the spec I have sent notice it does all camera formats your old cameras will be 720tv line analog cameras now are 5mp high def just replace over the years

Your link does not show a tracking ptz however it does have motion detection which is useless on a ptz just like a ptz with a microphone motion detection will only work if your ptz stays static then it will do motion but if you put presets into the ptz ....... every time the camera moves you will get a useless alarm ptz audio ........ built in microphone on a standard fixed camera is good on a ptz all your going to hear is two motors as ptz moves also making audio useless unless it stays static ...... so you may as well just buy 2 ptz cameras with the right size lens anything that uses the HIsee app is junk just like the app ..... and it does not work on new iPhones

Hi. Your most expensive link is very limited and only does AHD so your 1080 won’t work on it yes a good hybrid will run your existing cameras and upto 5mp all formats including ip cameras so your 1080 as well hoq many channels are you looking for

Please don’t waste anymore money. finding a standard analog ptz will only be second hand and that will have issues your system q unit is 13 years old a standard analog 7fps the 720p and also your 1080p are HD analog but it is important that you also know it’s format ..... TVI or CVI or AHD so you could spend £100s before you get it right also the 720p and the 1080p do not need rs485 ....... can also send control over coax your EKO is old and in the uk if you needed to hand footage to police they would not use it or even try .......... I would swap out your recorder first. If you buy a hybrid 5in1 all you need to do is unplug your old dvr and plug cables back in to new hybrid. Then your recorder is good for another 10 years plus it takes all camera formats up to 5mp you then start swapping out your existing cameras as and when needed hybrid dvrs are cheap and a lot easier to use than the Alien EKO  also 5mp HD cameras with audio are cheap from around £55 or without audio start from £35 i would look at bringing your system up to date and save money

Hi if it’s been fine for 5 years on that power supply then I would say your using a dvr 16 Poe nvr will never run on that power supply can you post a picture of the back of your unit

Hi. something is badly wrong. from your pictures you show a 12v 5amp power supply your POE on 16 cameras ..... that is your problem wrong power supply
