https://www.hikvision.com/en/Products/Network-Video-Recorder/Pro-Series(EasyIP)/EasyIP-3.0-Series-NVR/DS-7600NI-K1/P(B) https://www.hikvision.com/en/Products/Network-Camera/EasyIP-3.0/4MP/DS-2CD2345FWD-I cameras are expensive £100 for 4mp. You also don't need cameras with SD cards not a fan of hikvision with all there problems or with there bad specs
-
That is expensive....... Plus another limited hikvision NVR it sounds good till you look at the spec .... 1 NVR with 4 x4k cameras ......... NVR will only allow 1 .... 4K camera other 3 channels 2mp. Plus the cameras in the kit are only 4mp the NVR retail is only £105 the qvis is a much more advanced system and cheaper
-
I do a couple of farm shops there qvis don’t sell to end users ........ but you can go to a supplier...... one reason is not to have service or reset codes all over the net like you can with hikvision plus all there p2p and cloud are all uk bases but you can still look at specs of cameras and nvrs
-
Hi. We’re are you based .... there are a few outlets to go and see units working. Your right dahua and hikvision starts to get out of your budget .... but that does not mean there better .... we have used dahua for years .... we don’t use hikvision in the uk as they don’t have a long operation period.... out of date quick and there are not many hikvision authorised dealers in the uk most are gray or copy units with no support 5mp with nvr that supports h265 with 2tb will give you 14 to 20 days recording take a look at qvis uk based company with your budget

Dome cameras have never been good ...with having a dome cover sun light or car headlights or even a torch shine on them gives a unusable image. Bullet style can always be moved or pulled down easy as most have a poor bracket turret are good and more secure and have better cable management your distance is not a problem with your budget you can get a much better spec than the annka system
-
Hi. Kev. Not a bad budget for installing yourself and going ip is the easiest way with your budget 5mp systems with 4x 5mp lowlight turret would be a good option. How far are your cable runs a uk system with trip wire protection is ideal for a farm

tomcctv replied to Alfan Cahyadi's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
You could use a Apple TV box or android tv box and send video from your smart devices but you will pay more for setting up viewing than you paid for cameras what are you going to do when you switch lights off. -
Hi. Sorry I ment icon ...... On first setup it would of asked if you wanted a shortcut icon placed on desktop but glad it works for you ..... I would recommend you delete everything to do with CMS.exe.
-
Hi. You will need to load with explore for it to work. Then just use the app it places on your desktop remember to run as administrator when loading
-
Hi. It will be much quicker to just enter the local IP of your recorder into your PC browser and then follow the instructions on screen to load remote view direct for recorder.
-
Hi. What make is your recorder. ... Why did you opt for CMS.exe .... You need to remove it ..... Full of threats to you PC security .... And also goes to 3rd party its much safer to use recorders software.

i need some help setting up my modem for the cameras
tomcctv replied to corviarbob's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
the answer is simple ..... You connect a router to NVR let me me show you how confused your posts are. So you have set up an external IP for each camera ??? Your right it's simple ....... Just give all cameras a local IP ..... No need for port forwarding... Not while local. connect a old router direct to NVR and use the local IP of NVR to view cameras on your NVR app ......it's all local and not on the net -
i need some help setting up my modem for the cameras
tomcctv replied to corviarbob's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
You are confusing your own posts ......you don't even need port 554 if using a NVR why are you using tinycam ?? Yes I understand very well ....... But over NVR you only need 1 IP ..... You set the ports you set one user name and password that is the security. what are the IP address you can't alter are they local or not -

Being on NVR ......camera ONVIF has nothing to do with it ...... Your not connecting to the cameras. And that makes it a lot more secure -

Why don't you just keep it simple and remote view your NVR instead -
Android based camera working with Windows pc.
tomcctv replied to John Brooks's topic in System Design
Hi. It's not corrupt...... Your PC is doing its job on blocking it. to run it you will need to switch off firewalls and any antivirus software......then go into Internet security options and switch to low and also ignore unsafe certificate....... None of which I would recommend Port forwarding is how you setup your camera to view on your smart devices.... the safe way is to setup yourself ..... But if you already have yours setup you either used software that came with your camera or you used a QR code .... In which case the camera setup it's self -
