  1. You would need a Poe switch to power your cameras .... PC world around £40 if wireless is your only option then look at the Google nest or the netgear arlo but your problem then is the wireless side ...... You could always move your router to outside of building
  2. That is what cloud is .... say you bought a cloud camera ..... 9 times out of 10 that cameras footage is sent to a China server .... they can also watch you on your own system. Your nvr is also basically a server so it’s your cloud .... give your nvr a camera address at your villa and it displays and records it ...... no need for 3rd party involvement cables don’t need to be attached to walls to be a eyesore you can run them along the bottom
  3. Ok it makes sense to stay with hikvision and have your home and villa on same system. But again wireless systems don’t work and are nothing but problems with cat5 why do you think the only way is around the wall so you can see the cable ? also hikvision do a tiny ptz the size of palm of hand which means it can protect the area you want but from a different camera position so no hard cable runs also staying with hik you can also record cameras at uk home which does away with your cloud needs and control the cameras
  4. Hi. Yes there are cameras like that. 4g solar but expensive and expensive to run. But what you are asking for is everything installers will tell you to stay away from. you are looking for wireless battery which means your network wireless must have a good range cloud systems .. cheap wireless systems you can bet go back to China server .... never a good thing or reliable cable is is the best way with your own recorder how big is your property.... can you see around your land standing at the house i would take your time and it will save you money

    Hikvision DS-7200

Hi . Sounds like your installer has not given your admin rights to your own system and has only set your up as a user .... so the qr code will not work not a network problem if it’s working on your iPhone do you know the password used on your iPhone just copy the settings on the iPhone app onto your iPad but ideally it is best to get the password from your installer or try and add another admin account to your recorder ..... if it does not allow you then your installer has locked you out have you got a service contract

    GoVision GV3008H - no pre-record.

Hi no not a clone ...... Just a China company making themselves look like Taiwan based geovision don't get them mixed up govision is a low budget unit with a lot of misleading specs ...... 5mp sold as 4K prices start at $55 ........ Is enough to know it's cheap junk

    p2p cameras

They replace a light bulb.......switch light off camera goes off. Wifi only .... And a small range ...... Life time is nothing also look at app reviews .......not reliable at all to the point your wasting your money I would also point out ...... A 4mp real CCTV camera is cheaper and will connect to a NVR from all locations to your office

    p2p cameras

Toys your not going to get them to connect to NVR 10 to 16 to install ........do you know you need to leave the light on 24/7 for them to work they do have a place in the market for something quick ......but not as a security system

    p2p cameras

That will need more than 1 app p2p QR code ...... With connection with China server .......It would be simpler to connect to a NVR for remote view you still need to give brands of cameras your using

    p2p cameras

Hi. P2P is not a good thing .... And it does not help in your requirements onvif is what your looking for in some cases IP cameras can connect to other NVRs not made by same manufacturer as cameras ..... A protocol is something that allows other brands to connect to each other you would have to list your cameras and NVR you intend to use. Again this is nothing to do with p2p ......you just need to direct cameras to NVR over the network ..... P2p usually goes out to a 3rd party and that is never good

Hi. You need to change your nvrs IP address to 192.168.50.20 and gateway 192.168.50.1
  12. Hi ..... and this also answers your other post problems .... ip addres is your problem .... none of your cameras or recorder can talk with your network. Is this a home or business network ? You will need to change the IP address on the ip cameras to match your network ..... I don’t know how many cameras you have but you need to give them a ip like this 192.168.50.21 for camera 1 192.168.50.22 for camera 2 and so on till you have changed all your cameras You will need to use a pc or laptop off your network and plug your cameras into laptop 1 at a time to change the IP address. Use a laptop if can ... not connected to any network .... but wright down its current settings so you can reset it back later to see the ip of each of your cameras change your laptop IP address https://kb.netgear.com/27476/How-to-set-a-static-IP-address-in-Windows in this instruction it is for 192.168.1.10 you need to set it to 192.168.0.10 amd the gateway to 192.168.0.1 then plug cameras 1 by 1 into laptop and change each ip from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.50.21 for cam 1 now you will see them on your network ..if this is not your own network ..... don’t do anything and talk to the it people ..... if it’s your network for home then your ok following these instructions
  13. Hi is your network 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
  14. Hi what ip did you use ...... is your bosh menu or pin reset ?

    Dahua dvr skipping record

Can you post screenshots of your recorders camera setup screen are you getting this on monitor playback or over a network
  17. Hi nothing wrong with your camera .... it just means it’s been plugged into the nvr and it’s already been given a ip long way around ..... but I don’t understand why a switch when all is needed is two small patch leads for future testing and getting to know your network I would recommend you buy a cheap tester will save you a lot of time and effort and money and it lets you know what cable is we’re https://www.amazon.com/TRENDnet-Ethernet-Accurately-Configurations-TC-NT2-x/dp/B0000AZK08

Hi. You will need to give a bit more info ...... Model of Swann camera and model of night owl
  22. ok we can only go buy pictures last owners shows 6 cameras .....yellow is NVR network cable in the back office were did he have the cameras ....... You will still red to get cables to camera position
  23. From your pictures last owner had 6 cameras 2-3-4-6-7 and 23 is the small dis black box in the location were you want the cameras
  24. Wires normally terminate at camera location (corner of room ) by your pictures you would have to run a cable to each camera from that small dis box
  25. Ok I understand your pictures now ......when you first seen the last owners office cameras were there connected to the small dis box or are there cables coming from ceiling
