DVR Remote doesn't move cameras over iPhone...
tomcctv replied to rucanunes's topic in Computers/Networking
Hi this post has been running for a long time did you ask for help ??? can you pm me your ip with a temp password -
that is a problem my customers would not like $250 / $300 for 64GB card. we have a customers with 3 tour buses that go from England to south Spain. for him to swap from avers to yours (avers will record all there and back on 1TB) 16 x 64gb = 1TB 16 x $250 = $4000 x 3 = $12.000. i dont think we need to call NASA to see if we have a problem. H/drive is best

signs are never a good thing on the side of your home. kids love it. and it can also bring more problems with neighbours. people dont like to see or think they are being watched. before you fully install your system try it just for a day or so with the cameras just outside your window see what type of images you get. Maplin systems have a few problems 1 being burning off to usb other is quality cif units are old hat. check these things out first before you install everything. last november in leeds we were asked to look at a maplins system. police were called 3 time and on each time the footage was usless. a usless system is just as bad as not having a system at all

had them run even longer. now we cant tell if SSD will last as long because it has not been around that long in a size that can be used for large recordings. another insult to another company. i know you want to push your product but all you are doing now is making your company look stupid. if all you can do is insult other companies. what that does is make your company look desperate

Actually, it's nothing like that. Best, Christopher hows that... i thought you came on to ask about your cameras. if you give the info asked for you might be able to get your system working. we need to know your camera power input .... not what you think it is. the size of your new power supply how far are your cameras away from your power supply type of cable used
-
well it depends on your camera. no not the case you mention IR so could be more and also you have what i call a kick in power (the time the IR comes on) to also add what size is your power unit. each output may have 1.5 fuse but you need to know total output and how far from your power unit are your cameras. you could still be under powered what power are your cameras or post a link.

well i think around 20 years with video tape units (vcl) and around 10 years for H/drive units is a long time. to be honest with you. i think you would have been better joining the forum and letting people know about your products. and not compaire yours with avermedia a system you know nothing about. aver is onto its 8th year and 3rd model all with H/drive units 1000s sold around the world. take a look at some of the posts on here guys have even used standard aver eb 4 way units as mobile dvrs with no problems. so mobile dvr with H/drives dont have a problem. infact all your products except 1 has H/drive storage

i think you are going to have some problems with virgin. 1st you need a static ip which virgin will carge you for and you will also need to up your usage. your ip has already changed from the one you have listed. check with virgin first if you can view on your virgin package. and if so then you will need either a static ip from them or use a ddns service. -
Hi Cougar. what i would say is before you buy read on posts on the forum. it will save you money. the Nuvico AP-C1610 Apex series i would not touch. been out for a few years started life as a $4000 dvr now you see it for $3000 or $1900. that alone tells you its going to be discontinued very soon. also it is a very low spec dvr 6fps @ D1 is poor with other systems out there. that dvr and your camera posts just dont match $300 cameras on a 6fps dvr. Dahua have dvrs with much better specs and they have now releast good cameras. but with your budget on cameras i would also take a look at hybrid units as you are in the ip range in price. have a mix and match of ip and standard. this is another reason why the forum will save you money the honeywell camera at $300 yes its a CNB now price it under the CNB badge you might get 2 for the same price.

# of cameras and limit writing to 1 hard drive continuously?
tomcctv replied to mike_va's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
many companys are now putting into there specs not to use green drives they just dont work WD even now have a statement green drives are not warranted on dvr use. (100s of people sending back, WD finding no faults) some HDrive manufatures even say not to use AV HDrives for DVRs they are designed for PVR were they are stopping and starting all the time .... which DVRs dont. -
hi its a very basic low cost dvr. are you thinking of buying a CNM. i would look at a dahua much better dvr

take a look at the CNB range. available in canada

can i just point something out . the CVG-M is on two cameras. now you say HD sould not be used. look at video . the unit with the same spec as avers oh and look plug in mobile interface mmmmmm you say should not be used. standard hard drives you also say cant be used oh and can only be viewed on there software and costs alot more that avers. the CVG-M is nothing like the avers buy compair with the MVG-400. which is the same in components. http://www.live-view.co.uk/vehicle.php
-
glad your satisfied. however just would like to point out a few things. company registered in Canada but money goes to israel. and you have no contact details on your site at all. if the product is that good why hide
-
i have seen the CVG-M and one thing you dont do is buy on looks alone. but the CVG-m does look cheap . nothing fitts cant record anything as long as the avers. if we stuck that system in buses or police cars we would loose the contract. and just to point out HD mobile systems have been around much much longer than sd systems. so i cant see how you can say HD systems are a no no. the CVG-M taken from there own website .......... looks like it has been run over by a bus the avers. if i was buying by looks ........ mmmmmmmmmmm

thats the problem firmware people think it makes the system newer ... firmware is for quick fixes and should only be used as such
