12VDC or 24vac

do you not have power in the garages to power your cameras local. and just use your cat5 for your ip camera. Great question, Tom. Yes, we do have power in the garages but we're powering everything - cameras, bridges, monitors and computers - from UPS's as a precaution. if you are protecting everything with UPSs then you will save with going POE with good switcher. then you will not need UPSs for your cameras. -

yes it can be done no problem at all. but i would use at least two dvrs/nvrs for that amount of cameras. you could use a 64way dvr but if it fails you have nothing.

you may have gone to far into your router settings. you only need services and firwall settings. click security once loged on to your router. then click services at the bottom of that window click add custom service. then choose a name for the service i.e cctv. then click TCP/UDP and then enter your ports number then click apply. you will need to do this for each port needed so cctv = 80 cctv1 = 6001 cctv2 = 6002 cctv3 =6003 now click firewall rules. filter name = dvr service = choose a rule you created i.e cctv(TCP/UDP 80) from drop down list. allow always your dvrs local ip 192.168.0.3 wan user = any do this for all your ports that you created and press apply after each. then your done. use google to find your external ip myip.com you can then log on as http://yourip/port.

CNB in the uk with ir is called VVP9324DNIR but only has a 15m ir range. but if you have good outdoor lighting they are very good. there is not much differance in size with the CNB vlp4026 which had 30-35m ir range bullet type.

why buy cheap .......... as in crap ....... at the end of the day you will just loose money. yes many large companys have the equipment made in china but with good quality control. then you have the bad side of china the copy side. cheap cameras cheap parts and no warranty.

you either put both onto your local network or if not networked use a crossover cable from each ethernet port. then go set-up / system / pos settings / drop down menu select samsung entre data port from cash register and then select overlay (which camera) or use hide option. (will show on playback or though search) -
