Easy to use DVR's for end user

Hi. Alan. if you call the dm budget then i would love to know where you buy them from. and also i think they are more advanced systems on the market now that do alot more than the dm. i use the avermedia range and i also get them at a very good price. http://www.avermedia.com/AVerDiGi/
  5. Hi. Kahodges. what make is your dvr. ???? and can it be viewed over the internet ?? the reason why i ask about remote viewing is some systems when viewed over the internet and someone moves the ptz and not hit the auto tour button before they log off then the ptz will stay in the last moved to place.

  8. Hi. todd. i have the new aver mobile. it is alot better than the old one. the 3g side also comes from avermedia so no need to have to set up remote view. also it is now linked to google maping. i am in the uk but i have a friend in america if you still have problems getting hold of one. what i would say is other mobile dvrs have a long way togo to catch up with the new avermedia.

    Viewing from home

Hi. rawbe. if you can view your home system from work but cant when you get back home...... it is just a ip problem. all you need to do is login with your local ip and not the ip you use when away from your home. you dont need to touch your router.
  13. Hi. Todd. you can now get nice very small bullet cameras (about the size of your small finger) i use them in taxi cabs. board cameras are very hard to hide.

  22. Hi lastboyscout. if your old cameras work then use them and in some cases old cameras are alot better than some of the cheap stuff on the market today. but i would say upgrade to a new dvr if you wish to have remote viewing on laptop or cellphone. i am in the uk but i buy my dvrs from america i use avermedia you can see a demo on my site at http://www.cctvengineer.com/page3.html this is not an expensive system but it is very good as you can see from the demo. also here is a link to a dvr spec http://www.avermedia.com/AVerDiGi/Product/Detail.aspx?id=86 if you also go to avermedia usa on google they will let you know who is closest to you. hope this info helps. regards Tom
