Hi if all you have is the dvr and not the 16 cameras to go with it …… then your best not wasting time on it
that unit is 14 years old and it’s a SDI only recorder

Why log on under a different name to answer your own posts

Hi am surprised to see one of them still running ….. they have been gone a long time
are you uk based ?
CnM is analog based only most cameras are now either ahd cvi tvi HD …… you need a camera that is manual switchover as the CnM can’t auto do it back to analog
have you already bought two cameras ?

I'm already using 13 IP cameras.
Yes your right 16 analog plus 8 ip
Why use RSTP ? This will not allow you to use the modes on the dahua ….. why not use onvif …… you can also pull the cameras back from the ezviz server
but again compatibility problems ezviz is hikvision which is not and won’t allow wisnet compatibility………. Backward or forward firmware
your cheapest option is swapping your dvr for a hikvision or hilook nvr …….. with having 13 iP cameras already it makes sense to move from dvr to nvr

after firmware update i cant use my ezviz cameras because while manual camera add RSTP support removed after firmware update.
Can anyone help me to find older firmware?
My currently firmware is (latest)
DH_XVR5x16-I3_MultiLang_V4.001.0000001.5.R.220630
in which method i should downgrade firmware?
Best Regards
Hi your post is a little confusing
how many iP cameras are you trying to connect …… your using a hd analog hybrid so max is 8
your on the dahua wisnet platform so why are you using hikvision ezviz??? Looks like your giving yourself a headache

Hi it would be xmeye firmware…….. which never updated just bricked the recorder
which app are you using on phone or tablet
8 way dvr is not that expensive……. Better software much longer video storage with h265 and also much better apps
-
There is no point going into options before you can give your budget
how many cameras
who owns the fire alarm
we’re are you located
-
Hi for edge you need to look up internet explorer compatibility mode under settings
-
Hi you will find it will be a firmware problem …. Your recorder is over 6 years old
just some things to check …. Are your hik cameras set to h264 … or h265 … your recorder is h264 only
ic realtime no longer use that China supplier anymore and don’t give support …. Ic real-time uk closed
your recorder is infact a dahua nvr but I would not attempt any 3rd party software install like most dahua it will brick

Hi then not being able to remove camera time is a problem
its the recorders time that’s important
it’s does the time line and the watermark/ signature so that’s the time which needs to be used….. and it’s also displayed on the monitor
buying cctv is a mine field but if you take into account there are only a few manufacturers the headaches are looking at rebadged units
take a look at your pm
-
Hi sounds like you have the time switched on at the camera as well as recorder
nvr ….. menu … edit camera
switch off time display
the reason why I say camera time is the recording time needs to be right which is the one that’s logged at hard drive
hilook is hikvision which are troublesome at the best of times ….. I stopped fitting them over 10 years ago
-
Hi I would say go for a 4 way recorder but then you don’t have future proof or expansion
I’ll match your budget
-
Hi viper 5mp hybrid dvr
yes it will save footage to a usb drive …. But it also allows for storage direct to phone or tablet and also send footage via email
I’ll send you the price you should be buying with hard drive to your pm
-
Hi ANNKE are rebadged systems so could be a hikvision or dahua ……. TVT is a manufacturer
and with dahua and Kim problems I would give them both a miss ….. it’s cheap all over the uk in some cases 60% off ….. and that’s for a reason
one of the best systems on the market is the TVT
It will outlast the ANNKE and much better app and easy for you to install
-
hi …. Units that use SuperLive plus app these are TVT or viper units they are full controllable…. I have many out and not had any faults
we’re are you located ?? Is this for a business?
-
Hi good budget ….. you will be surprised the picture quality just by replacing the old DM recorder
for your budget I would get a 8 way so you can still use your existing cameras and add more HD cameras when budget allows
-
Hi and the hybrid unit does all and in your budget £165
-
Hi if in the uk I would look at the viper (TVT) 8 way 5mp dvr BB
I have many of these systems out and never any problems
it is the only unit on the market that is fully controllable via phones pads and pcs
semding footage is as simple as an email direct with 8 cameras you will get 29 days with 1tb
the app used is SuperLive plus

Or you could of simply just used the cameras software
if it has been used before you have no clue on cameras iP range …… then you have password problems….. just connecting to pc does not mean it’s done
POE ….. indicator lights will show with data and power …….. no data path ( wrong IP) lights go out
