    Robbery on December 31, 2006 (ICR-Pro DVR)

Yes, this was our Pro DVR unit. The video clips looked even better when they were in the original format. They actually have turned in a few of the videos to NASA to try to see if they can make out the plates. The 1st and 4th video I know was this camera: http://www.icrealtime.com/solutions/cameras.asp?cameraid=icr540vd The rest were these: http://www.icrealtime.com/solutions/icr200.html Yea, no gloves, and they pull up in a $70k Mercedes CLS 550

    Hello All

I wanted to re-introduce myself being I am officialy working fulltime out of the IC Realtime main offices in Fort Lauderdale, FL. My name is Andrew, I head the sales department here at ICR. If there are any questions in regards to IC Realtime please PM me. Thank you.
  3. OK, so I am kind of new into this area and need a little help. I am currently researching a few access control companies for future projects: 1. TAC 2. Lenel 3. Software House 4. Johnson Control I am basically trying to figure out where the whole access control market is heading. What kind of integration is possible now between CCTV surveillance products and access control? What does the future look like between these 2 markets being they are slowly integrating? I apologize for my newbieness, I just need to make some rather large decisions in the next few months and want to know some of your thoughts and experiences with these particular systems.
  4. Ok, so I have a dealer of mine installing 16 of our 540VD camera: http://www.icrealtime.com/solutions/icr540vd.html He is using the ALTV1224C power supply and all his video cable runs are through cat5e using some Panasonic passive video balun. My questions are where are these diagonal lines coming from and why do these cams look like this. His runs are between 100ft-600ft. I personally think its the cat5 runs using the baluns...but I don’t know. Any thoughts?

Why do these look like this?

I dont think its the power. He is running 18-2 for his power runs. Here is the box. http://altronix.com/index.php?pid=2&model_num=ALTV1224C It is rated at 437.5ma per channel. The cameras only need 150ma at most.

Why do these look like this?

Thank you all for the insight. I havn't heard from my dealer today. So, either he figured it out or gave up I am thinking the baluns and utp are causing the issues. He does have one camera using siamese and there are no lines but, the video still looks not right. Oh, and if I didnt mention the DVR is a DM DS2. Thanks,

Why do these look like this?

They are not mounted to metal. As far as them being grounded, would this need to be done at the power box? The dealer is checking now for any cable runs over AC lines.
  8. Ryan, Hello and welcome to the forum. May I suggest taking a look into our product line? You can find both our Pro and Flex DVR unit's specs and features on our website: www.ICRealtime.com. For what you’re looking for I think we can accommodate you very nicely. They both incorporate H.264 compression and can be configured a couple different ways according to your requirements for fps and resolution. CD burners and Hard Drives come default on our DVRs. They are very user friendly and feature rich. Our tech support is great and service is way above par, compared to the industry. I will gladly accommodate an online demonstration of both DVR's. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thanks, Andrew@ICRealtime.com

    IC Realtime Flex DVR

313-313, Please download the latest software for our flex DVR. You can find the remote client software here: http://www.icrealtime.com/support/support.asp. This problem had been solved a long time ago, and had nothing to do with our software or DVR. If you are experiencing this problem via IE please follow these steps: -Click Start and Run -Type regsvr32 /u webrec.ocx and press enter -Reconnect via IE and download the ActiveX when prompted These steps will ensure proper streaming without any problems. Why have you not called our tech support line? Where did you purchase this DVR? Please PM me with any other questions. Thanks, Andrew@ICRealtime.com

    Swann DVR4-Net Plus Any good?

I have used the exact same DVR in a black case from some manu. in China, Sharpvision. I think they sell this DVR in some walmarts across the US too. It was a decent DVR. Local replay and viewing was OK. No VGA output. Remotely it lacked in performance. Basically any time we tried connecting remotely the machine froze. If you have anymore specific questions please let me know. The one I tried out: http://www.sharpvision.cn/product_specification/imagepro/dvr/dv363.htm

Most of their DVRs are AV Tech. But they do have 40-50 different DVRs so we are going to need the model number.

  16. Agreed. I currently have been playing around with all sorts of lenses. I am really trying to find the best for our camera line. It seems when indoor F1.2-F1.4 work decent. But when your talking about an outdoor application we have found, at least with our cams, the Day/Night F1.0 not only looks the best during the day and night, it focuses the best. Using the F1.4 outdoor, especially at full WIDE, would not focus right outdoor. Oh and of course the quality/price of the lens makes a huge difference.

    Color CRT Monitors

I have even seen the sub-brightness control on very cheap B&W 14" and 17" monitors. It would be worth looking into.
