    Cleaning outdoor camera lens

I haven't seen one made especially for cleaning lenses or housings but you could custom make something out of this:

    Software controlled DVR

You can achieve this from the Remote Control but you can also control monitor output from the IE interface and Client Software as if you were in front of the machine.

What PC's are you using for your Geo Systems?

What stinks is you add windows to that setup and you're adding another 100 bucks. True, so $100 for WinXP and another $40-$50 for case and PSU. Total: $560.00 + $20.00(S&H) = $580.00 So, how much would that setup cost from DELL..

    Looking for a Camera Distributer

Why not just buy direct from the factory. I can recommend some great Manufacturers in China and Taiwan. If you're looking to buy in volume this is the only way to go.

What PC's are you using for your Geo Systems?

Are you looking to build these PC's yourself? If so check out this setup. Has worked great for all my PC DVR's. Obviuosly depending on the number of channels RAM may need to be increased. Other than that this thing is a powerhouse for any PC DVR setup: https://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion/Wishlist/PublicWishDetail.asp?WishListNumber=1971087&WishListTitle=DVR+SETUP Pretty much everything you will need less the case and OS/Software. Great setup for $415.00. Case I have used before. Comes with a 350Watt PSU and a 120mm Fan: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811182568

    Opinions on KT&C EX190SWX?

Stay away from CMOS. Only CCD. You need a decent IR Bullet camera with 420+TVL and a 1/3" Sony CCD. The cam53CIR is a great camera for the money. I've had A LOT of experience with that camera and can say for the price you cant beat it.

Yes, usually ground looping only effects a few cameras. Are all the single power supplies plugged into the same power outlet (source).
  19. How about a section just for Geovision problems and questions. Seems thats all you see in the DVR Card section anymore. There are 17 threads just on the first page of the DVR card section about geo issues... Just a thought.

Smells like ground loop to me. How are the cameras powered (power distribution box or individual power supplies) ? Are you using a Siamese cable for your power and video runs?

    How about a Geovision section

Right now there are 19 threads on the first page of the DVR card section about GEOVISION.

    Opinions on KT&C EX190SWX?

The specs definately look good; Ex-View and 420TVL is a plus for that price range. Athough I did find it a little cheaper ($69.00) on another reputible e-commerce cctv site. Where is this camera(s) going to be facing? What kind of night picture are you looking to achieve? How is the lighting? This will help us determine if that particular camera is best suited for your needs.
