    (Sold) Avermedia EB1304NET

I have a used EB1304NET DVR. You cannot buy this dvr in the US anymore. A great 4 channel DVR for recording D1 resolution at 60fps (15fps per channel). I am upgrading to more cameras and need to sell. Here is a link to the Aver's UK website showing the specs. http://www.avermedia.com/AVerDiGi/Product/Detail.aspx?Id=87&Tab=Specification Includes remote and power adapter. Remote viewing software can be downloaded from Aver's website. A great unit. 500 shipped fedex ground insured with payment via USPS money order. PM for payment information.

can a camera be "stuck" in IR mode?

Yes. I have a newer cnb that is stuck in b/w. Only a power reset will turn it back to color then whenever it gets dark again, it will not come out of b/w. CNB's quality has really gotten bad.
  3. Has anyone installed a dfl-20s in a walk in cooler? I would like to know if it will work ok in that type of setting.

CNB DFL-20S in walk in cooler

I went with the VFL-20S. Now, Hopefully my drill bit will make it through the metal. Gonna have to make sure to caulk or spray foam the hole as I do not want any moisture in the camera.
  5. I have an Avermedia SA9000e pro. I am finding when the recording space gets low on my hard drives to around 25gb the dvr will crash and reboot. This happens only when recording space gets low. I have a 2terabyte hard drive and a 500gb hard drive installed.

    Avermedia SA9000e Pro Crashing

Hey Tom, that would spoil all the fun for me. I see two HD's under system and setup, drives D and G. I see no option to set a partition, there are just two buttons that say add and delete. I so see a system configuration setting button and under that a partition table, but nothing is showing. There is an Isci setup button also under this.
  7. I have an 12v 18 channel 18amp power supply. Each channel is regulated at 1a. I am thinking of wiring two channels together to increase output in parallel by hooking common negatives and positive from both channels with to pieces of wire, then hooking it to the pigtail. Has anybody hooked to channels together to increase output amps? Each channel has a 1amp fuse and I do not know if I would need to change this in parallel?

    Huviron SK-P700IRD

Here is a night picture. I could probably see if someone was hiding in my car with the Huviron. CNB Mona Lisa first photo with external IR. Second photo Huviron Sk-p700ird with 70IR. Draw your own inferences.

    CNB VCM-24VF vs. VBM-24VF

18ch power supply with individual fuses. Failures occurred at different times and were likely defects. One camera went gray screen, another is stuck in b/w and another does not change over to color once in b/w without power cycle. CNB has been good on warranty service/repair, but it is a pain to pay shipping and remove the camera and set up the new ones.

    CNB VCM-24VF vs. VBM-24VF

I have had 3 out of my 4 CNB's go bad over less than a year. Guess I got a bad batch or QC is lacking.
  12. Are there any decent 5.8ghz wireless video transmitters or other options to transmit to a lcd in another room than the dvr? I have a cable run of about 60 feet that is under a house with about 12 inches of clearance. Attic is about the same.

    Power Supply Help

IR is back on. It appears it was a setting with "mode 2" dynamic IR. I switched it back to "mode 1" and it is back:

    Power Supply Help

fuses are rated at 3amps not 1 like I thought.

    Power Supply Help

Yes. The fuses actually are 3amp in it now. No fuses have popped.

    Power Supply Help

Huviron 700IR. For some reason the IRs are not working tonight. They were working last night. It is very cold here/ice storm. I am wondering if it is a power issue if the heater came on or if there is more reflection with the ice and the IRs are not coming on?

    Shutter Speed 30mph

What shutter speed would be best to minimize blur on vehicles on a 30mph street? I am thinking of setting it to 1/125? CNB VBM-24vf cameras. It is set to 1/60 and way too much blur now.

    Check your PM.

    Shutter Speed 30mph

Here is a picture in bright sun. Camera 1 and 2 are on ESC. Camera 1(CNB) looks a little washed out but camera 2(Huviron) does not. Maybe adjusting the brightness/contrast will help the cnb? I will be getting a new camera 4 from cnb as it is stuck in b/w.

    Shutter Speed 30mph

I will post some pics tomorrow. Sun in the forecast.

    Shutter Speed 30mph

3 of the 4 CNBs don't have a gamma option. You should be able to get away with 1/125 and it will help with the blur a little. I am anxious to see how the esc works during the day. Better bring a side arm on that job as working on these things takes some time.

    Shutter Speed 30mph

Not bad with some light. I may have to add some megapixel cameras sometime when the price comes down. For now I will get 3 more analogs. DVR can take up to 16 cameras so I have some room to work. Shutter speed by default is 1/60 on the CNBs. Pretty slow for moving objects/blur.

    Shutter Speed 30mph

More noise. I will see when daylight comes around. Camera 2 actually looks the best under IR with less noise than the rest but you can't tell with the crappy web snapshot. If esc works during the day, I will switch the rest except camera 3. I forgot, Camera 3 has no adjustments or OSD but the picture is pretty sharp for a low price camera (don't know what that one is set at).
