    Somebody here who heard about CPSE that is hold in Shenzhen every two years ?

    CPSE--China Public Security Expo

     

    In fact CPSE is every year, but they change between Shenzhen and Beijing. The name when in Beijing I dont remember right now, need to get back on that! This is a very large security show.

     

    Date: 1-4 Nov 2009 (Every Odd Year)

    1,000 Exhibitors From 20 Countries

    55,000 Professional Visitors From 90 Countries

    I will be going there this year, 3 nights in Shenzhen and 11 in Thailand is a good trip!

     

    To compare to Ifsec: 600 Exhibitors, and 30 000 visitors, so the CPSE is almost twice the size. Also they are now more used to foreigners. But not all companies are targeting theexport parth so not all speak english.

     

    If anyone going would be nice to meet up one night for a beer!

    Hi, i could not take part in this CPSE. Is there anything nice products?

    As economy is not good i have heard that manufacturers did not show much new. i have heard one Chinese factory shows new camera with new Sony DSP.

    why don't share your information here?

    in 2010, Samsung Techwin will take over the CCTV business department of Samsung electronics. as Samsung Techwin and Samsung electronics are the companies in Samsung group. Samsung says their business is overlapped and things like happened in other Samsung companies.

    From some day of next year, Only Samsung. no Samsung Techwin no Samsung eletronics.

     

    personally I like A1 DSP more than W5.

    In terms of quality AND performance, best to lowest:

     

    Japan

    S.Korea

    Taiwan

    China

     

    USA and Canada do make some of their own products as do some companies in Europe (eg. Extreme CCTV), ofcourse many of their components come from another country though. Big brands have manufacturers plants in many countries now.

     

    It is very interesting subject as I am a supplier. as the above says i agree with best to lowest.

    I think on view of economical aspect.

    Japan for CCD,

    S.Korea for DSP and Software

    Taiwan for less expensive labor cost

    Chinese always price competition first.

    Now, DSP and software become important. as every analogue Camera has same CCD(Sony) and lens quality difference is not big. quality depends on much DSP.

    The resolution i am talking about is analogue thing not megapicxel(from the link you provide)

    if you are O.K, one more question. is the name of DSP "HQ"?

    CNB technology is a great company because they produce DSP as well but sad news as you may know it is under sales. hope a private funding dose not buy CNB.

    Well 650tVL i think is the highest resolution out there but resolution is only part of what makes a good camera.

     

    (I know one company whose R&D is working on a 800TVL )

     

     

    If you are talking about image quality and not just resolution a 52DB S/N ratio and a high end lens will go a long ways.

     

     

    I would far rather a 540TVL camera whit 52DB then a 650TVL with 48DB S/N.

     

    your mentioned good points and i am with you 100%. DDC, DSP, and Lens all good the best camera.

    my opinion is in current, every camera has Sony(or Sharp) CCD, and lens quality dose not have much difference except the some lens from China. Now DSP becomes the major factor for camera quaility.

     

    Effio DSP supports 650 TVL with 52dB. google "effio" to know more about it.

    by the way which company is working on 800TVL? can you give me PM?

    Hi everyone,

     

    Till today November 2009, the highest resolution in analogue CCTV is 600 TVL in Color, 700~750 TVL in B/W.

    Samsung DSPs A1, W5, LG DSP, and one local DSP in Korea supports 600 TVL in Color. I think A1 is the best among them.

     

    if you need more information. give me note.

     

    Also Dynacolor in Taiwan and one Company in Shenzhen, China have 600TVL color cams.

    Hi,

     

    expensive one dose not mean the product with quality always because brand power. if you are looking for the highest quality image, i would like to recommend CCTV with Sony effio DSP. it will show 650 TVL in color and the price will be the highest-maybe only manufacturing price will be over 300USD.

    next one, you try CCTV camera with A1 DSP which Samsung electronics rleased this year. it will be next. it shows real qualified image.

    I am very glad to know this place. As i am the person in security business field, I would like to share my knowledge as far as i know. especially the latest analog CCTV. You can ask especially Korean DSP(Digital Signal Processor) now Korea releases the latest DSP most.

    Hi all,

     

    540TVL products has been almost 2 years in a market. I found the most common resolution of CCTV Camera is 540TVL in present market.

     

    CCTV Camera with 600 TVL in color is out now.

     

    Do you think CCTV Camera/600TVL will replace CCTV Camera/540TVL?

    It seems 550,560, and 580 TVL are bitten by 540TVL.

     

    Waiting for opinions.
