I need outdoor rated covert housings for urban environments to hold cameras and computers. That is all I can say.I know I can build them but I don't have time and I want to just concentrate on the electronics so I am looking to see it there are any suppliers.
Have you done this before?
If you haven't your in for a big surprise.
You will burn up stuff like there is no tomorrow. Ask me how I know.
PC mother boards, hard drives, and power supplies will burn up every July.
Most cameras have a 120 degree limit.
If you put a PC outside it will need an environmental enclosure like these:
By the time you add the heat and AC package to them your looking at about 5 to 8G's per enclosure.

Have one DVR on it but haven't really spent any time on it yet.

We use the GV 1120-16 cards all the time with 16 analogs and 8 third party 1.3mp IP's.
The 8 camera 3rd party license is roughly 500 bucks and comes out cheaper than GV brand IP cameras.

I have a PTZ camera that has no real identifying marks other than the outer globe has "Eyemax" on it.
Not sure if I can post pictures with a new account yet but I need a replacement clear dome lens.
Fiber: single or multimode?

Since when will 62.5 not support 1Gbps?
You don't need no fancy switches that accept SFP modules for fiber. Get some inexpensive media converters. 1Gbps less than 200 meters will be about 100 bucks for the pair.
Single mode would have issues on that short of a distance and would probably require attenuators to reduce the signal because it would be too hot.
There are 2 light waves used on Multimode. 800 nanometers for less than 200 Meters and 1300 Nanometers for less than 2000 meters.
Most of the inexpensive media converters are either SC or ST connectors.
