Hi I have seen this many times before but this is a first for Samsung. DVR's appear to be USB specific. Some only recognise smaller drives (less than 1Gb) while others will only recognise FAT32 formating. Try formating FAT 32 first or find an older smaller drive.

Hi From my experence using the Mobotix cameras is they have severly understated the bandwidth requirement for each camera. I can see that you may need to reduce the frame rates and resolution for all cameras. A typical Mobotix srteam can run up to 6Meg of bandwidth multiply this by you 60 cameras and there is your problem 360Meg bandwith requirement with 100Meg switch. As suggested you may need a network engineer to assist to resolve this one.

Many IP solutions will claim they operate with 3rd party software. This is until your purchase the 3rd party software then things fall apart. I have tried many different IP software solutions and 3rd party Analytics products, when it comes down to integration neither software solution will fully intergrate with the other. One company will have a software upgrade then the other stops working but neither company will take responsibility of the now incompatibility. I have several shopping centres in NZ running various solutions and have found that ONE software solution is better than 2 or 3. A typical example is people counting. The Recorder people say they support integration and they do, however the counter company say they require BIRDS EYE VIEW (why record this camera). When selecting an IP solution look ones with lots of other supported camera brands.

You may find that if the router is not able to unload the video stream it may lock up. One thing you could try is to reduce the resolution and frame rate to check.

I have used many Honeywell cameras and from the last 12 I purchased 10 of them have been replaced due to the colour changing to a RED tint. Based on this experence, we have stopped using them.
