I think you are confused. Its ok as you mentioned you can see video via any computer, may I know where are those computer does at same place with DVR? If YES, it means you are in LAN not WAN(Internet). Why you say your cellphone can see via APP, actually, I know that app and I think you just type of serial number on app. Those technology is called Peer to Peer ( Or cloud), not allow you connect your DVR true networking without louse set up. But if you did noy set up port forwarding and/or DDNS, its not able you to see via browser over internet. May I know where is your location?

Cisco is block 80 port and some ISP also dose that for specefic use the port. And why you can see via cell phone I guess it may access via you wirless AP something else. As I say most networking device is default 192.168.1.1 in Lan enviorment. If all people is use this IP add how to distinguish from million dot.

Replacing my Twilight Mini FL bullet cam for better one
joseph.chen0312 replied to jirija's topic in Security Cameras
Hello you are right the image is blurry even under street light. It seems from high noise, and there are many factor to cause thses ambience but most possible is over heat to interfere main board normal running. -
There are two issue you need to set up for you desire DVR to view over Lan and WAN. First of all, no you need to make port forwarding and/or DDNS, otherwise how to identify and pin out the DVR? 192.168.XX.XXX is commonly default for most networking device. Now you just set it for LAN so you can find out it exist but its not reall IP addresss on the WAN. Second, as you mentioned, you use Cisico router so you better replace HTTP port from 80 to other number i.e. 90, 9090 and etc.

In my opinion, if you are tend to install IP camera around the 10 buildings, you may consider dispose optical fiber for those long and large space. As you shown you are versed at coaxial cable so trench pipeline is not difficult to you. But as others suggest you on IP maping, I agree with that is cruncial issue for you. As well, you beter structure a indepent sub mesh for those surveillance for neat infrastructure. One question arrose from this huge project, how to storage those tons of data, NVR or NAS and how long is requested to be record? Its not easy to say to you deployed xxxxxx 3, 2 or 1.3MP camera and no answer to why and how. All need to check whole ambience, power and etc.

Its depends on which port you connect to HD-SDI camera becasue some supplier has design one HD-SDI and another is CVBS. But even you hook up cvbs to analogue(D1/WD1) DVR the quality is blurry. So I think you better to migrate to hybrid DVR to finished this project.
-
Hello, The HD-SDI has complaince issue for the camera, dvr and gear. So you have to hook up HD-SDI camera to HD-SDI DVR. As for balun, which some supplier has release SDI-Balun for bridge cat5/5e cable with edge side. Some supplier has offer Hybrid DVR solution to SD+HD-SDI, IP+HD-SDI or more SD+IP+HD-SDI.

Lines on LCD every camera new kit? any ideas?
joseph.chen0312 replied to Domm29's topic in General Digital Discussion
In the light of footage, camera is turn on IR and video is rendering rainning inferferance. I assume those is long and lasting high heat cause that. To be frankly, its intrinsic design is poor in main board and IR board. -

If you exclude VSAT, you may consider installed Wifi with booster for gainning more power to transmit data. But you better check local regulation for does it legal to deploy that device. Here one is a good wifi provide with satisfactory price. http://www.ubnt.com -
Horizontal Lines Across some Monitors
joseph.chen0312 replied to Surveillance Tech's topic in Security Cameras
It may interfered by some heavy electricity arround pipeline. You can try another cable to hook up both directly. Then to see how it is. -
Hello Rech, Most of all is fine for you posted thread. And I have check detailed on DVR which you listed and over all seems fine. You know, all need to on-site test for make sure capability is reach scratch you want. With regarding external camera hook up Wireless, you can search some wifi pair device one is encode and another is decode then connect DVR. PTZ all you can connect to RS-485 pole then default each title to identify at DVR for control.

i need to connect one dvr to one monitor and one tv
joseph.chen0312 replied to rodriguez76's topic in System Design
As you posted query, I think all is ok to work. But you better check does this item has support SPOT monitor, if it does you can access main menu to setup authentication for which functions and how high level he can operate at DVR. If the one DVR does not support, you can create a ID and passords to him and as above mentioned, you default authentication to him and he can monitor via computer. -
Hello, Which is not normal type camera, its utilized Thermal technology. So you will finding out differentiation in the dark time.
