  1. I think best solution is upgrade DVR to 960H(WD1) DVR which affordable recording 700tvl resolution. And you point out good question for is there transmitter is able to support. As I know it as same as DVR, it needs to upgrade WD1 otherwise it may caused abberation.

As for Hybrid solution for IP+Analog or SDI+Analog, I think you could finding out some good brand from Korea. But you better guge the longest distance between DVR and camera at this premises. HD-SDI transmission is upto 100 M via RG-59U, 150M via RG-6 but if you do not prefer to old pipeline, it may only 50% distance compare with new one.

  2. but how come on the computer monitor under house all the pics fit in each box perfect but on the tv in my room miss a lot of the pic in each box

I have gone through all the dvr settings try to change the screen size like on my old dvr but theres no settings for it . to adjust the pic size .

I downloaded the user manual and nothing on there aswell

I mean now has developing new type of DVR for 960H CCD(WD1) which is dedicated to WD1 resolution. Becasue point is DVR is affordable WD1 resolution as for output display resolution slight issue.

Becasue I have see some 700tvl at normal D1 DVR even lower all picture is blurry and distorted.

  3. May I suggest my view of point, in the light of you descripted you deployed all 700tvl camera, I guess those is utilized SONY 960H CCD, basically we call its WD1 because you could compare which horizon effective pixel with D1. then you would finding why.

You better upgrade DVR to 960H(WD1) dedicated DVR then I assume this issue will being gone

  4. All night club would be challenge for each installer and/or system integrator for myriad lighting and high activity rate.

I agree with Tom point out you better carry out OSD BOX camera equipped P-iris lens e.g. AXIS, Vivotek..

As for legacy cash register, I have some idea, one set up virtual alert line which has programmed at some IP cam, NVR, VMS even for analogue DVR or you could stick magnetic sensor to register while its opening it can triggering system to snapshot to be event for premises owner.

  5. Thank you. and RG59 is about 95M and RG6 is about below 150M. As I know some one has test it go through used cable and it would more shorter so I think you better consider equipped extending device to make sure the quality is well.

In my opinion, HD-SDI would be growing up in coming years for we called traditionl CCTV field without louse Lan and internet set up.

    Cheers.

  6. Suppose you know that almost all current models of Full HD speed domes/PTZ are all based on Sony 1/2.8" Exmor CMOS sensor, so all of them should have pretty good night performance.

Yes the scene is from Shenzhen China, I hope you are not implying that anything from China is not of good quality. In my opinion, these days China makers produce much better products than Taiwan, technology and quality wise. Name me a Taiwanese company that produces better products than Hikvision, Dahua and Sunell, definitely not Vivotek, Geovision, or ACTi

Not sure what do you mean by "affordable compliance", but we have installed close to 500 channels of Milestone VMS with Sunell products using ONVIF interface and so far so good.

As for you claim comply for most VMS i.e. Milestone.... I do not think its affordable compliance. Maybe let me check all conformant list in each one.

Why utilized SONY Exmor would be good in the night? And I never think Hikvision and Dahua is good art at Camera ever. As above mentioned, Sunel is fine I have seen. Actuallu, I think most professional SI, installer would be agree with vivotek and acti is better.

Dedicated to you a hard working sales rep.

  7. Yes key issue is shorter distance in transmission. But now have some extending gear i.e. repeater, SDI-Fiber optical convertor. As you mentioned, three nearby building. You better gauge each distance for estimate which solution is better. I guess, you may consider high portional cost of man power to trench and replace cable.

So you could make a total cost comparsion table for you study which is best solution and premises owner will taking.

    Cheers,
