  1. Some time key issue is not only for earth grounding but you also need to take care static-proof, you know some area is high dry to cause huge static.

You are plan to install isolaton is wise way and the brand is well known for high quality. Let me advise some opinion, you may also consider equip lightening arrestor/surge protector for more solid protection from lightening strike.

Also taking into account for use cable with STP for preventing from noise interferance.

  2. Dear Al,

Sorry for late reply you. And it is bad to hear you get bad service. Actually, they are ask China factory made all line of products. RMA for China factory always is pain of ass to every one who purchased from there.

Lets leave it aside, as you stated you are happy new one camera but how it is for capture License Plate which you posted in fiest thread.

Would you mind sharing result if possible.

    Cheers,

As you stated, I think maybe you need to searching some cameras which built-in true Day and night ICR , OSD and RS-485 protocol which allow you remote function(i.e. Zoom, slow shutter...) via DVR. As well as, equipped Vari-focal Auto-Iris lens which will gaining better picture.

  4. Hi, everyone, this is my first post.

Do you find this problem? HD-SDI camera, is good at daytime, but at night, you can find the picture is a little blurred. f2.8~12mm Mega Pixels Lens, IR cut is build-in. People say it is common. And hope for more response.

Hello As you questioned, there are a lot of HD camera (CMOS) would be same occuring that phenomenon. But it involved and related to many factory. Not a simple words to elaborate all. Would you like to state main purpose you concerned.

    Cheers

  5. Yes there is the levels are selectable from zero to about 300

There is also a CNT option

Is there a ballpark to what they should be?

There is also a gain option from 0-255

I have a sheet that came with the camera I will attach shortly it shows the osd menu options

The camer has the AVS03a dsp if that helps

Hello I am also from Taiwan as you pointed AVS03a dsp , I am sure which items is made in China. Because here manufacturer no one developing that DSP but only in China.

Basically, Effio has E, Enhance E and P in DSP from SONY.

    Hope it help you.

  6. Hello

You could check all pages of main manual then you may could finding out those funstion you derserve. As for focus camera compliance I think it wuld be fine for both of DVR and camera has RS-485 or 232 interface and same protocol in Pelco D / P, If all is well it menas both could shake hand then you could condtrol via DVR, remote PC or some device.

  7. Hello

This is good stuff through from its spec. As you concerned, it abviously is for DVR as listed

    "Standard Package Camera head with 18-inch pigtail cables for power, analog video, and Ethernet;

    Joystick Control Unit; Operator Manual"

I also recommend you need to consider well mobile DVR with anti-vibration when boat face wave. When you done would you like to share us how it is.

    Cheers,

  8. Hello

I think crucial point is not transmit video to decentralize spot but how make all 16 camera at 5 place in the loop for montioring.

First off, you could consider install spliter 1 in 4 out to other spot and central monitoring room and local palce you consider T connector install to each camera so one out to pliter and the other to local.

But I was wondering how to procession monitoring at 4 decentralized spot? you only mentioned two display but no PC or any device. Or you could complating deploye 4 DVR to eash side then you could watch on site live via montior and anothere is installing quad mixer to view the rest 3 spot or use an PC and view by CMS/VMS.

Finally, why you conduit fiber, if longest distance is within 1.5KM you could consider active repeater via cat 5/5e/6 to trasmit all video data. Becasue its more cost effective and install.

    Cheers

  9. First off, I think you check out detail in compliane PTZ protocol list to one video encorder/NVR you are intention to deploy. I remember PANASONIC is seems programmed dedicated protocol.

Then you could ask supplier offer or download manual alomost big brand has support detail pin code assignment diagram for instruction.

    Cheers
