  3. Hello, I am installing a 12v DC 18ch 40amp distribution box to power up all my IR array cameras and want to know some more information regarding 40 amps. I am guessing 40 amps in the cctv distribution box is different when compared with house electrical? because this is going to be plugged in a 20 amp circuit breaker. Also will be using a 14 gauge power cord for this box, would that be suffice?
  4. Hello, Just bought a Dahua DHI-XVR5216AN-S2 and used my old 3tb hdd (WD30PURX) and it only detects 1397.13G it shows. save your time and headache, dont use them. I would just go with some cat5e and baluns.

  14. good day ..thanks for response to my problem...my power is near at the cam..70mtrs. distance I had this problem before, best way to find out is get a power source close up to your camera that having issue and check if night vision works ( you can dismount the camera and take it inside to make sure it is not your camera). If it is working, you got amperage drop from your line. 70 meters is pretty long depending on the gauge wire you use for power. Especially if you are using IR ARRAY leds.
