  1. Good to hear you managed to get it sorted. I completely bypassed Hikvision DDNS as it was more hassle than worth. It was much better to use NOIP.com DDNS service and it's been working fine. There has only been one problem, it appears that Hikvision cameras on it's own don't seem to update DDNS service if the IP address changes. Meaning, if the modem/router gets a new IP address due to whatever reason, then you will not be able to see the live feed anymore over the internet. So the solution was to set up the same DDNS account on the modem/router itself. Now if the IP address does indeed change, it is notified to the DDNS service and everything remains operational. There's only perhaps a minute between the changes, but that's better than having to go personally to the location to check what is the new IP and manually update DDNS settings.
  2. Steuk, in case it still doesn't work with hikvision DDNS. Go and open an account with NoIP DDNS service. Then in the app (iVMS-4500 HD) when you add the camera select "IP/Domain" and add the address you have set up with NoIP. Now under "Port" put your "SDK port" number, NOT your "HTTP port"! I've been loosing sleep over this for two days! Random. Hope this helps! T
  3. Hi guys, I've been on and off this forum for the last month, trying to find a best solution for a friend. I finally decided to go with two Hikvision DS-2CD2732F-IS domes and one Hikvision DS-2CD2632F-IS bullet cam. While I was planning to mount the domes on the Hikvision wall mount, I have some issues with mounting the bullet cam, as it has to be attached to a pole. I've looked around for solutions, but all the pole mount brackets I could find so far have the holes for their respective barnded cameras. Any help would be much appreciated. Oh perhaps to add, I was planning to add the Hikvision DS-1260ZJ Power Intake Box to the bullet cam to hold the connectors. And also to add that I'm in UK. Cheers, T [edit]: perhaps would be a good idea to add the diameter of the pole ...its 150mm.
