  1. Hi Depends on what type of area you want to cover. Do you need PTZ cameras or fixed. Axis Cameras are quite good and we use Milestone Software a lot. Thanks King Communications

    coax to ethernet

We have recently used Axis Video servers on a project to turn 20 Analogue cameras into IP based system and integrate with Milestone software. It works very well.

    Cabling Questions

I would also recommend using Fibre. Create the network on the top floor of the building, run a singe fibre from the basement and then you have a fibre backbone with standard IP network.

    best looking outdoor housings

You can use the Mobotix cameras without any housing at all. They are very discrete and quite a decent camera.
  5. I would suggest you look at Milestone Systems
  6. Hi All I run a Security and Telecommunications company in Scotland near Glasgow. We are moving away from traditional CCTV to IP systems and find there is a large potiential in this market due to the integration and scaleability features of the systems. If you want to hear more about what we are doing drop me a line. Many Thanks Martyn King King Communications

    HELP! New system req

Hi You will need something that can detect or search for movement in a specific area. So if your car gets scratched you can search for the movement around that area of the car. I think you would be very lucky to get anything for that kind of money. Cheers MK
