    Timespace X200 is very solid / well proven. The X300 has the addition of SDHC but as a secondary recording media. The X100 was bullet proof but sadly not made anymore. Many features and very widespread.

    Would splitting the signal onto an output screen pre-DVR lower the strength of the signal before it gets to the DVR?
