Axis's new HD are much better at night time and the Arecont 3130/3135 is also very good.

I don't see any Cisco guys on a forum designing systems and setting up there gear for free But we do it here I very much enjoy talking tech with you guys but I think we should move it to the dealer forums or we should start getting payed for input " title="Applause" />

Mobotix has a great product but there software is terrible.

It takes a 8023af injector/switch and converts it to UB's power requrements. But the output from the nanostation is the same as the input which is not 8023af.

I spoke with there tech support and they told me there products are not 802.3af. They have a adapter that does but it is miss leading, it takes the 802.3af and converts it to Ubiquiti's standard. I have not tested this for myself, but I did call and speak with there support. I do hope that he was incorrect

Axis new HD cameras look very good. I have the p1346 , q6034, q1910 at my office ready to demo I will post some images when I have time.

The Nanostation is not IEEE 802.3af you will not beak to pier the cameras with POE. I would stay away from Vivotek.... Axis does now have a cheaper line of cameras out and Acti has some nice stuff.

But none of them will FTP images or video off of the SD card Right now Mobotix is the only solution that integrates the SD card in the VMS solution but I am heard Axis is going to start by the end of the year.

But I think he was asking for a camera that can FTP the images off the SD card.

All you need is a IEEE 802.3af compliant POE injector and you will be fine. The camera takes 6.5 watts with the IR on POE. Also please check the link in my signature I have 3 of them forsale at great pricing with a NVR.

I have been using WB Blacks and they haven't let me down.

But there is no standard for Megapixel there only needs to me more then 1million pixels, but it doesn't say anything about color quality, FPS requirements or image shape or size. I understand its easier for customers to understand HD but I think it is a good idea to have some requirements for Megapixel. SMPTE 296M (HDTV 720P) defines a resolution of 1280x720 pixels with high color fidelity in a 16:9 format using progressive scanning at 25/30 Hertz (Hz)—which corresponds to 25 or 30 frames per second, depending on the country—and 50/60 Hz (50/60 fps). SMPTE 274M (HDTV 1080) defines a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels with high color fidelity in a 16:9 format using either interlaced or progressive scanning at 25/30 Hz and 50/60Hz. As far as I know Axis is the only manufacture that is SMPTE compliant.
