Strange. I wonder if possible to do a script as a temp measure (like crontab in Linux) that runs every so often in the background restarting the web server if necessary. The web server on ours only started crashing 'after' upgrading to v7*.

I have 1 of each (brand new but plugged in to make sure they powered up). The only reason I got them was so I could remotely access the menu system in Panasonic cameras (ie. WV-CP484). It all seems like a waste though now, unless I get an outdoor Panasonic PTZ. Anyone got a couple G to lend for a WV-CW864A? Just a FYI that I might post them in the Classifieds soon (then eBay) in case anyone interested.

Yep, I had this exact same issue. Normally, it would only turn off when using Remot Playback and scrolling the slider or simply selecting another clip.
