Geo 8.2 support of megapixel cams..

Recommended Posts

Good question.

Also are there any plans for ipix support (just picked up a commandview dome ) or any way it can be added?

The literature says that 8.2 supports recording resolution of D1(720x480). Does this mean that I won't be able to take advantage of a 1Mb cam that records at 1280x1024, or a 2Mb at 1600x1200?

Geovision supports full mpix resolutions. That's verified.

Dear Liberty,

Yes, with 8.2 software, GeoVision did supports 720*480 recording resolution...

With 1280*1024 or 1600*1200 recording resolution....

Yes, it is possible....However, your IP cameras must be on our support list and the GeoVision software version must be v8.2.

Here is the IP Camera Support List...
