NewbieStringer 0 Posted May 18, 2008 i finally laid out all he conduit and finished passing all the cable {cat5e) throguh the tubes. aslo im using rg45 baluns. im currently installing the cameras (ptz's) with the cat5 do u guys think imma get a clear image with one range of one camera beig 250' away? please write back soon!!! as im doing it romorow. glad u guys helped. p.s. does any 1 have a tutorial on how to intsall ptz camera? NewbieStringer 0 Posted May 19, 2008 i dunno the name right now but its kinda a badass one hooked it up to the dvr and got a super nice image scorpion the two links u send me tells me what panning and tilt means i know what they do just was asking how to put all the wires together. um also if any one knows i need to know how to install a ptz controller to the ptz using cat5 thanks guys and thank you scorpion for replying to my thread. Dome address setting: (table 1) Dome address coding range: 0—255 What kind of DVR did you say it was? I assume there is an RS 485 +, and - on the back of your DVR. This would connect to your PTZ (unless you have a 4 wire PTZ). Are you saying that you do not know what color wires on the PTZ go to what? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
