Brigness problem

Recommended Posts

Ok guys, I have this camera that I installed today at a client's site.

it sits in the backroom, it's a check cashing place, so it's behind the wall.

I have a Manual Iris 3.5-8mm lens, and the camera is a photronics 327na.

The problem is that if I face the camera directly, I look as a black, you can't make my clothe color, or my face, it's completely black, but my surroundings are clear, only If I open the iris high enough, then you can see me clearly, but the rest of the area is whiteout.

Any suggestions?

#1 - Try a Different Lens.

#2 - Adjust the Iris Pot on the Lens

#3 - Make Sure you are looking at this direct at the Camera, not through a DVR or any distance.

#4 - BLC on = Brighter - generally it should be set to OFF, but if you are having issues, try it ON.

#5 - WHAT OTHER settings does the camera have? Can you send a link or image of the settings on the camera? There are other settings as well, that can cause it to be dark like that.
