mmalfett 0 Posted September 9, 2009 I am in the process of researching system brands and packages for a client that is requesting a 8 channel dvr system. He is a good friend of mine, as such I want to provide a great system. There have been recent robberies around the neighborhood, so I would want to use a pan/tilt/zoom camera. Cost is not really a major issue as reliability and clarity is key. I am not too verse as to my experience with difference technologies. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts. katie1985 0 Posted September 10, 2009 You can give some details of where these cameras will be placed...I don't really think you need a PTZ, maybe your friend has some special needs...Those cameras with high resolution, or wide angle or vari-focal may OK for your friends...
