scorpion 0 Posted December 23, 2009 Too many things to figure out. First pull the hard drive out, and power up the DVR. Does it boot ok? If yes then bad hard drive. It could be a bad power supply. External, or internal. Go to a computer shop, and see if they have an all in one tip 19 volt power supply. If the DVR boots fine, reinstall the hard drive, and reboot. If all is good then it might have been the external power supply. There is also an interal power supply that might give you problems. Most likely it will be one of those three. For the hard core electronics people then test the freq of the oscillators. That would be the next step.
