Rs232 to usb converters? and then just input the com port it uses? you can add upto what ever your dvr i.e 4 way = 4 ptz 16=16ptz but not with your usb converters as the dvr only had 3/4 usb. and if you loose powe then all your com ports will change and you will need to reset every time if you use a rs485 to rs232 converter (you only need 1) take a look at the moxa. is the best way. Perfect thanks tom! I just want to make sure that avermedia can handle "bigger" jobs.
