Harrar 0 Posted February 6, 2011 Just started playing with the BL110D 1.3MP. Not bad but have a couple of concerns. One, every time you open the lens, you have to replace the silica beads packet to prevent fogging of the cover. The other is the IR LED's. Once they kick in, anything in the middle of the shot closer than 3 meters is really washed out. Not a closeup unit. Dusk Shot Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Harrar 0 Posted February 8, 2011 That is a 3 meter (10 foot) consideration but as it'll be mounted on the 2nd story, as you said, it shouldn't be an issue. Also, if you have adequate lighting, you can disable the black & white if needed. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
