8-9 Channel DVR w/easy Mac O/S remote?

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for an 8-9 channel that is Mac OS friendly. Is there any with a native application, or are they all active-x in IE?

acitvex is what you use to view the cameras on internet explorer over the internet from anywhere in the world once it is setup so you can do that.

but to answer your question you can get a cctv system that runs with windows xp, windows 7 and there are cctv companies that do cctv systems that can run on mac you just need to look for them.

Dahua DVRs have desktop software support for;

PC, Mac, Nix

And they have mobile support for i-Os, Android, Blackberry, Symbian, Win Mobile.

Its simple as download, install, use

I dont know of any other stand alones at this time that support Mac.

Dahua's are sold under various names in the US, one of the more well known ones being Intellicam USA (now Gen IV)

Thanks Guys,

I ended up recommending an ECOR264-9X1 by Everfocus. It has a native Mac client. and easy GUI.

I hope I didn't mess up!
