HDCCTV Cameras - Casino Surveillance

Recommended Posts

I have a client who owns a small casino, he currently has approximately 100 analog cameras and wants to upgrade all the game table cameras to high definition (15 cameras approximately).

I was looking into HDCCTV as an alternative to IP surveillance, its a fairly small casino so no more than 300ft per camera. Anybody installed HDCCTV surveillance before? I've looked into SG Digital and they seem to have a fairly cheap pricing than other companies.

It'd be nice so I can just replace his current analog cameras with HDCCTV and with a HD DVR Recorder instead of running new wires for IP.

I'm so glad Brandon has left us for the time being. This would be another 20 page thread which got derailed after the 3rd post. HDCCTV has wayyyyyyyy too many bugs to be a viable solution for you right now.

Do you recommend the powered or just passive ethernet-coax adaptors? All the camera lengths are no more than 300ft.
