ssnapier 0 Posted September 17, 2011 If you have read any of my other posts, I am less than pleased with Mobotix Control Center. Can you guys recommend a piece of software that will allow me to view, record to NAS, search and export video clips from these cameras? I would say it needs to cost less than $400, but I really have no idea what this type of software should cost so I might be way off base there. I have been trying to get my boss to move to 3VR boxes but for now I have a customer that is VERY unhappy and I need a solution! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

thewireguys 3 Posted September 17, 2011 Depending on features needed your looking at between $100 to $400 PER camera for VMS. Also most VMS software can't write directly to NAS like the MxCC. You will need to make sure your network can support the streaming from the cameras to the VMS server and you will need to have a server to install the VMS on.
